“Good flavors pricey for what you get”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

I am not a picky eater as far as taste is concerned. There was a good selection and the flavors were good. The biggest problem that I had as the salmon was very very dry.

For that price...everything better be cooked just right.

“Breakfast and dinner were amazing!”
Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

We were staying at the lodge so tried all 3 restaurants and haven't got a bad word to say about any!
Boma breakfast was huge and the quality of the food was unmatched on property. I did have concerns that we wouldn't enjoy it as much as a character but the service was fabulous and we really enjoyed a family breakfast just sitting and chatting .
Dinner, one member of our party is a very picky eater and hated it because they just didn't want to try anything, they ate from the kids section and still thought it tasted "funny" so if you do have a "burger and chips" eater in your party then maybe avoid, but the rest of us loved it.
Huge selection, everything superb quality, from the soups to the impressive meat section to the desserts!
I'm not generally a fan of buffets as I feel you forgo quality for quantity, boma happily breaks this trend and offers good quality as well as all you can eat.

“Great food and variety!”

Many African inspired dishes but still have enough choices for the finicky eaters. Great place to try new foods, but still have a fallback plan.

“brilliant food”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

dined here on two occassions, i must say the only thing is the food is pretty much the same each evening, but it was lovely and had lots of choices. children under 3 dine for free. remember tho that there is always a service charge of either 18 or 20% is not part of the dining plan, we were more than happy to give 20% each time
