“It's a reasonable place”

Quite good pizza, the Caesar salad was limp and the tuna addition was a large dollop of tuna mayo. The squid had a lot of deep fried batter without squid. Service was good

“My Favoite”
Reviewed January 17, 2013

I LOVE NY Style pizza. Anthony's has restaurants in a handful of locations - luckily one near my office. I was thrilled when the South Orange Avenue location opened. Crispy crust for the first bites full of fresh topping flavor, then you start folding - New York style. Pizza is delish! And both their garlic knots and house salad dressing are fabulous too..... So far, I haven't wanted to give up the pizza for anything else on the menu! Both my in restaurant visits, and ordering for delivery have been fine! Good service too! Lunch special are great - giant pizza slices w/drinks for 5.99!

“Food is fine, but the service makes Anthony's less than average”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

I work in the DT Orlando area and had the craving for Italian...this place was recommended because of its close proximity to my job. I called in advance for takeout thinking it would save me some time. When I phoned in, I was quoted 20 min for a sub. I arrived 20 minutes later missing the lunch crowd and to my surprise, no one wanted to assist me. 2 separate servers said I'll be right with you before one word came out of my mouth and then proceeded to ignore me for the next 10 minutes. I finally spoke to the person actually making the subs and he had someone check me out. The sub was very delicious. Got a 12'' for just under $7 so its not thrifty nor expensive. The food was not standout vs. other Italian spots so I have to say I will not be recommending this eatery to friends and co workers based on the spotty service which is unfortunate.

Hope you guys get your day service streamlined and with better customer service.

“Great Pizza, Great Personable Service”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

I recently moved to Orlando and have been looking for a good pizza joint with decent service and friendly staff. Well, I have lived here for just over a year now and after many visits to numerous places and various experiences I believe I have found thee place to go for Pizza in Orlando. It's hands down Papa D's pizza on the corner of Conroy/Windermere and Dr. Phillips Blvd. Aside from thee best sicilian pizza and pizza by the slice. The place has a true Italian owner who is friendly and actually knows his regulars. I go there at least twice a week not only for the pizza but also because of the staff that remembers who I am and what I order and the owner who on several occasions has bought me a slice of pizza and even a beer once. I gotta say if your looking for a pizza that is amazing and a staff that actually has a personality and remembers who you are and what you order this is the place for you.
