Disneyworld does great fireworks. Choreographed, themed, spectacular. They certainly know what they are doing. The backdrop to the EPCOT fireworks is marvellous being over a lake. The show starts very well with colourful bangs, whizzes and light accompanied by energising music. Unfortunately this does not last long enough before a sentimental song along the lines of 'holding the future in our hands/we can all dream a better world/we are all brothers and sisters' etc kicks in. What fireworks has to do with this is anyone's guess. However, after an enormous globe has sailed across the lake and opened up like an orange (effective and, it must be acknowledged, pretty spectacular), there is a resounding firework finale. Which is great, but more fireworks and less mushy, adolescent sentiments would make the whole experience nigh on perfect.
