Description: Whispering Canyon Cafe in Disney's Wilderness Lodge smokes up pulled pork, ribs, chicken, baked beans, corn bread and more that will satisfy any cowboy or cowgirl in the family. In this rowdy, family-style restaurant right out of the Old West, start your morning with a bang-up breakfast of favorites such as buttermilk pancakes, omelets or an all-you-care-to-enjoy Canyon Skillet.Later in the day, bring your posse by for lunch when we're serving up burgers, salads and sandwiches, or stop in for dinner and be tempted by steak, fish or salads. And we can wrangle the heartiest appetites, 'cause we've got lunch and dinner Canyon Skillets, too. Be sure to save room for the Canyon Apple Pie!

“Good service, silly antics. foods ok.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

We visted Whispering Canyon for 2 dinner meals and 1 breakfast meal. We did not book reservations for either of our visits. Our wait time to be seated for dinner was under 10 minutes. We have our dinnertime around 500pm. Our first visit we had the all you can eat skillet- $30 per person. The skillet is a meat lovers skillet- corn bread, salad, corn, mashed potato, chicken, pulled pork, sausage, carved beef, ribs. The food was tasty. I enjoyed the carved beef, the mashed potatoes and the salad most. the salad contained walnuts and either diced pear or diced apple. Out meal, including drinks came to just over $100. Our breakfast visit 2 had the all you can eat skillet. Cost is 16.50 per person. It contained scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, country biscuit, hashbrown potatos and sausage gravy. My daughter had a plate of pancakes. Including drinks breakfast cost us approx $60. better to just eat breakfast at Roaring Fork, same food less price. Our 2nd dinner visit we ordered individual meals from the menu. I had the NY steak with mini roasted potatos. we had the rainbow trout which came with mini roasted potatos and a bland salad. We ordered the kids fish of the day ( Salmon). The salmon lacked taste, my child did not enjoy to eat. The meal came with corn bread which was very good. Our 2nd dinner cost approx $100. The meal was presented nicely. The steak and the rainbow trout was very good. The service was very good. Seated in the main dining room you enjoy the servers antics. It does get loud. i would say it is too loud during breakfast time. You can also be seated in a quieter section of the restaurant, which faces the hallway leading to the Roaring Fork.

“Just OK”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2014

We had several meals here as there are not many choices at the Wilderness. Atmosphere is loud, servers encourage participation, food is just ok. Wasn't my favorite place only ate here out of convenience.

“You can join the fun or just eat”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2014 via mobile

Great food, wonderful servers, and nostolgic atmosphere. When you are seated the host asks you if you want to be part of the interaction that goes on in the restaurant or if you don't. It's your choice to just eat and watch. Loved this breakfast and will return when in the area.

“Good but not great !”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2014

We have been to whispering Canyon several times. We like it. It is somewhat unique in some of it's activities. The food is good and there is a lot of it. Maybe some of the uniqueness has worn off. It was good but not great. I think if it is your first time you will really enjoy it. Make sure you ask for ketchup.

“Get the platter”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 17, 2014 via mobile

They have one meal here that's really good it's got all-you-can-eat ribs chicken sausage beans potato salad etc. there's nothing extraordinary about the chicken it seems to be the same roasted chicken you got all over the park. The ribs however are delicious and the atmosphere is fun although it's tone down since the first time I was there
