Description: Whispering Canyon Cafe in Disney's Wilderness Lodge smokes up pulled pork, ribs, chicken, baked beans, corn bread and more that will satisfy any cowboy or cowgirl in the family. In this rowdy, family-style restaurant right out of the Old West, start your morning with a bang-up breakfast of favorites such as buttermilk pancakes, omelets or an all-you-care-to-enjoy Canyon Skillet.Later in the day, bring your posse by for lunch when we're serving up burgers, salads and sandwiches, or stop in for dinner and be tempted by steak, fish or salads. And we can wrangle the heartiest appetites, 'cause we've got lunch and dinner Canyon Skillets, too. Be sure to save room for the Canyon Apple Pie!

This wasn't our first time eating here, but our first time for dinner. If you're looking for a quiet meal...this is not the place. You'll get a sassy server who will playfully tease and joke with everyone at the table and she'll be expecting it back, too! :-)The kids get to participate in a wooden horse ride all around the restaurant. If you need ketchup...be forewarned now!!! :-) LOL The meal is all you care for BBQ served family style. The main course is chicken ribs & beef with sides of mashed potatos, corn & mixed vegetables. They'll bring a second course of sausage & fish. If the kids don't like this they can order seperately...ours ordered burgers. If you'd like more of anything, they'll gladly bring out more. We found everything to be delicious. My favorite was the beef and mashed potatos. Leave room for desert. They bring out a cheesecake in a glass bottle, a strawberry peach cobbler and a pie of something? I didn't try it. The cheesecake and cobbler was yummy. All the adults and the kids had a great time. We liked it so much that we reserved a table for this coming October when we'll be here for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween!

Kids enjoyed the hi jinks....food wasn't fallout but actually seemed decently priced for all you can eat. We had a good time.

Went for a late lunch & the place wasn't as busy as I'm sure it gets in the evening. We had a funny wee waitress - her name was midi me?? (I think) who was entertaining & friendly. There were a few high jinks with ketchup runs, small drinks, large drinks & the kids galloping round the restaurant which was entertaining. Food was good - burgers & pulled pork - and the milkshakes were great as was the Apple pie dessert. All in all a good spot for a bit of lunch & some fun.

This was recommended by someone who does not really cook. I thought it was over-priced for food that was just ok. The desserts were pre-made and refrigerated, and again just ok. The loud waiters were just .....stupid. I am not a big disney fan, but if that is your thing you might like it.

I had hoped that this restaurant would have improved from the last time. No such luck. Okay, it is a nice looking place, great location and convenient. But that's about it! The seasoning on the food is over powering. Everything tastes the same. Most of it is over cooked. If you love BBQ food, there's a good chance you will be disappointed at this place. The wait staff is rude. Their so-called show is tired. The ketchup routine is old. They should spend more time getting their food to you in a timely manner than worrying about corny pranks! And the best part comes at the end when you realize you have to pay $60 for breakfast or over $100 for dinner! SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! There are lots of other choices at Disney! Spend thirty bucks and eat at the quick serve downstairs!
