Description: Whispering Canyon Cafe in Disney's Wilderness Lodge smokes up pulled pork, ribs, chicken, baked beans, corn bread and more that will satisfy any cowboy or cowgirl in the family. In this rowdy, family-style restaurant right out of the Old West, start your morning with a bang-up breakfast of favorites such as buttermilk pancakes, omelets or an all-you-care-to-enjoy Canyon Skillet.Later in the day, bring your posse by for lunch when we're serving up burgers, salads and sandwiches, or stop in for dinner and be tempted by steak, fish or salads. And we can wrangle the heartiest appetites, 'cause we've got lunch and dinner Canyon Skillets, too. Be sure to save room for the Canyon Apple Pie!

“Family style service”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Great atmosphere and definitely a place to have dinner (or breakfast). Not at all what expected when arrived but definitely a place to consider if you like BBQ style food. Staff was great. We expected to wait for a table because we did not have reservations as recommended but didn't wait long and enjoyed every minute.

“Menu Changed, So Did the Fun”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

We always love to have at least one breakfast at the Whispering Canyon. We were a little disappointed to see the menu had changed. Some menu phrases changed and the skillet service is gone. Now the buffett is brought out in rectangular serving platters :( It just doesn't match the motiff of the Wilderness Lodge. The food wasn't bad and the services was fine, but it was the little Disney touches that made you feel as if you somewhat in a different era and now it's gone. Luckily we tried some other new Disney Resort restaurants and have new favorites.

Why did Disney have to re-vamp a fun place to eat at when clearly what they had was great!

“FUN and rowdy!”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

Stop here for a fun and rowdy cowboy style dinner. Kind of pricey, but if you have a dinning plan it is a must!

“Not worth our money or time.”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

We are here once before and enjoyed the atmosphere. During our last visit, there were other menu options besides the all you can eat BBQ for dinner. For our most recent visit, we didn't realize until we sat down that the restaurant was now only all you can eat family style. The food was cold and tasted terrible. We asked for hot food. It took a long time to be served and was no better. Our kids wanted to ask for ketchup (for fun)..but we weren't served anything that required ketchup! I couldn't wait for our check to come so that we could leave. We love the Wilderness Lodge, but will never return to this restaurant.

“Good food and good fun”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

At first I was a little offended by the attitude of our server but I quickly realized it was just Disney theming. We had so much fun eating here. The serving sizes were perfect and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. It may seem out of the way for disney visitors but it's worth the trip. Don't forget to ask for the ketchup!
