Description: The Kona Cafe infuses a bit of Asian zest into traditional American breakfast, lunch and dinner fare in Disney's Polynesian Resort. Indulge in the scrumptious cinnamon and banana-stuffed Tonga Toast or choose from a variety of more savory breakfast options like a variety of egg dishes and pineapple macadamia nut pancakes. At midday, satisfy your hunger with an Island chicken sandwich and housemade sweet potato chips, shrimp and scallops, or other tasty entrees. Dine in the evening on delicacies such as a selection of fresh fish, grilled ginger-crusted ribeye steak or coconut almond chicken. As you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this Polynesian restaurant, feast your eyes across the onstage open pastry kitchen that prepares divine desserts. Kona Cafe offers authentic Kona coffee as a perfect pairing to these pastries, or as a rich addition to any meal.

We ate here on our trip to Disney last week. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our 8am reservation and we were seated immediately. Our waiter was excellent, very attentive and courteous. My husband and I both ordered the famous Tonga Toast and it was incredible! The restaurant is located inside a hotel so it's a very busy area. It was also my husband's birthday so the waiter gave us 2 cupcakes in a to-go container to enjoy later. It was a nice gesture! He also gave us to-go cups for us to take our coffee with us. For the 2 of us it was about 45 including tip which is pricey for breakfast but then again EVERYTHING at Disney is overpriced but it was worth it. I would highly recommend Kona Cafe!

The Polynesian is very convenient to the Magic Kingdom (5 minutes via monorail), which is particularly great if you have young children. The rooms were clean and comfortable even if a little dated and worn. The staff was very friendly, and the setting is neat. The volcano pool is fun. The Kona coffee and Tonga Toast for breakfast were great.

One of the most gorgeous hotels on property, and sooo peaceful. It's like entering a Polynesian oasis.

Great menu with good variety. Prices for lunch are reasonable. The wait staff seemed quite knowledgable about the menu items and made good recommendations. We were eating a light lunch and shared a delicious sandwich and fries. An extra plate was provided to aid in the sharing. The setting is great. We sat overlooking the "jungle" outside of the building. The atrium of the hotel is also quite green and attractive. We can recommed this restaurant without hesitation.

My family took me here for my birthday. We waited for about an hour and half and got seated close to 9 PM. It was a buffet style and our server had mentally checked out by then. He served us once and never came back. We had to ask the bussers for our server. And they ran out of food and we were told that the kitchen was closed. Our server finally showed up and told us that we should come early next time because they stop making dishes after 9 PM. They should have told us this while we were waiting. For $$$, it wasn't worth the money!

We will always remember our server Arturo for the worst dining experience during our Disney vacation.
