My husband and I dined here on our actual one-year anniversary (9/15). Narcoossee's did not disappoint. We were seated promptly and decided not to wait for a window seat, since most people view the fireworks from the deck and block those sitting at the windows anyway. Our waitress was good but not excellent. We did receive the souvenier menus, which were a nice surprise. The pace of the dinner was good but it was not timed to the fireworks and we had to leave our entrees to view the show. It would have been better to wait until the fireworks were finished and then serve our entrees.
We ordered the surf and turf and the whole Maine lobster. They were both delicious! For dessert, we ordered the almond-crusted cheesecake and the chocolate gateau. Both were amazing. I liked the presentation of the cheesecake better last year, when it was served with an edible picture of the princesses. The new presentation was plain, but it was still fabulous. We also had the French-pressed coffee done right at our table and that was great.
We had been looking forward to this dinner 8 months and Narcoossee's did not let us down! This was our best meal at Disney during our trip and it continues to be our favorite restaurant on Disney property. We tried the California Grill on this trip but it did not live up to Narcoossee's. We will be back- we have reservations for our upcoming holiday trip with my in-laws in December! Even though it counts as 2 dining credits on the Dining Plan, it is worth it. Try it- you won't regret it!
