My husband and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency OIA and had both breakfast and dinner at Hemisphere. Breakfast was solidly good, and prices were about what I expected for a convention hotel. My husband was pleasantly impressed with the Eggs Benedict. I had the buffet and for $15 the selection was better than average. The scrambled eggs were above average and the creme brûlée French toast filled my sweets craving. Since the buffet includes coffee and juice it really is a pretty good deal. For the dinner service they switch out the linens to black and light some candles but don't expect a lot of romantic ambiance. I don't know if the staff was having an off night or if the kitchen was slow but we experienced a long wait between courses even though the restaurant wasn't overly crowded. I felt the prices were a bit on the high side overall. Everything is a la carte, the server did tell us sides are big enough to be shared - that includes the large baked potato. We both had the petit filet and scallops - a good value. The 2 scallops were excellently prepared and the filet was tender and juicy. For dessert we split the chocolate walnut caramel tiramisu which would have been much better if there had been more tiramisu and less than a full 1/2 inch of chocolate ganache on top. I wouldn't necessarily make a special trip here if you are an Orlando resident, but if you need a nice place for a meal at the airport.
