Went toLonghorn the night before flying out of OIA. The place was not really that busy and they seated us in the bar area. We ordered a bottle of wine and after a few minutes a server who was not our server brought out a bottle with a coke in it , remove the cork and fill our two glasses and then stuck the cork back in the bottle. My wife asked if he was going to let us taste it and he said he was too busy for that and left never to be seen again. First, he never presented the bottle to us to even make sure it was the right one we even ordered. Second he never poured a taste to make sure that the wine was not bad, and third to don't stick the cork in the bottle ever especially a red whine which we had that needs to breathe. I should have sent the bottle back not know if some one could have put something in it since it was not opened in front of us.
When are these chain restaurants ever going to take time to train their wait staff own wine service!!!
We both had the Flo's filet and a Caesar salad. The salad was a good size that was cold and crisp with an above average dressing. Te steaks were grilled as request to rare plus and theynwere fairly tender and flavorful. We ordered the with no seasoning salt or pepper. Otherwise you will burn your mouth with all the seasoning and be be drinking water all night. The meal came with two sides, a baked potato and fresh vegetables Both were acceptable.
Over all the meal, was ok. The dining environment is fairly nicely done for a chain and the food is reasonably priced.
