I can't speak for all Uzbek food but this place is awesome. We ordered a variety of different dishes and each one was better than the next. Many of the things we tried were like nothing we had before and we were very impressed.

The service was excellent and there was a special hospitality at this place. The ambience is really neat invoking some very cool Uzbek imagery.

I would definitely eat here again!!

Atmosphere is very nice and relaxing and portions are very generous and not too expensive. Our food arrived in a timely manner and was freshly made from scratch. If you are in the mood for eastern food - definitely try it.

Uzbec cuisine is out of this world. Not at all foreign to the American palate. I loved it so much when I toured the "Stans" that I brought home an Uzbec cookbook, and we prepare the dishes often. Now we are fortunate to have a local source for this heavenly cooking. Everything is fresh and carefully prepared and out of this world. What they can do to lamb and to vegetables and to bread (and everything else) simply has to be experienced to be believed. Go immediately.
You are in for a real treat! All the ingredients are things with which you are already familiar, but cooked in a way that makes them extraordinary. Best dining experience I have had in a long time.

Atlas House has only been open for three months according to the waiter/owner. It was empty on a Wednesday night at 7:00. The location is quiet but well lit and safe. It is clean and attractive. Two other patrons arrived as we were finishing. It deserves to be busier.

The food is fresh and prepared with care. Since we had not eaten Uzbeki food before we asked the waiter for recommendations.

The bread was like a large bagel, served warm and fresh. Our first course was a shaved carrot dish with cooked onions, olive oil and a green spice, probably dill.

For a main course we had chicken kabobs and rice, and a beef dumpling, reminiscent of pot-stickers, but with a more subtle flavor.

For desert we had the Chak-chak, reminiscent of a honey covered rice crispie treat, but less sweet. The meal for two with a yoghurt drink came to $33, which we consider to be a very good price for a memorable dining adventure.
