Went with two friends for a late dinner and some nice beers. The place was not very busy and the waiter was attentive. Beers were cold with a nice selection. Would return if I'm in the area.

Came by for dinner this evening with the family and the food was okay. The wedge salad on the menu had been replaced by romaine lettuce with bleu cheese and bacon crumbles. The beer cheese soup was good, but grainy. Points for making the soup with real cheese, but it was grainy and could have been cut with a bit more milk to smooth it out. The fish and chips were excellent in taste and quality. The shepherds pie was okay, a combination of ground beef and lamb, carrots, potato chunks, peas and topped with melted cheese. There wasn't any gravy in the pie and no mashed potato topping. It was lacking in flavor overall.

Kimmy, our server, was excellent and on top of everything. Spot on service and the bartender knows how to serve an excellent Bass Ale, which is really the focus of this establishment. It's a bar which serves food, not a dining establishment with a bar. I think there are better options for British food in the area, which is not to say we won't be back, but the food could be better.

For those of you on holiday who don't care about the need to watch English premier league football live and enjoy an excellent full English breakfast, while supping on a beer (wide choice) on a Saturday morning - as this heaven sent venue opens up to screen the early games then up to four (yes four) simultaneous live (UK time) 3pm games - you probably won't share my excitement of this bar. A very present atmosphere, helpful and welcoming staff, family friendly (my 9 year old son was v pleased to be getting his PL live fix) and a top breakfast. For those who have "significant others" to consider who don't like football, the Florida Mall is on the same road, about 5 miles away. Football watching while they shop....perfect! I'll be back Saturday.

Good selection of beer, friendly service, and decent bar food. I had the chicken kabob which was better than most places I've eaten.

Went here on the way for dinner at Roy's (just down the road) and its quite a small place but is nicely done with lots of TVs and plenty of tables. Good selection of beers too. We didn't eat here but the food smelled and looked pretty good!
