We picked this hotel because of the location near the airport and free shuttle. It couldn't have worked out better. We stayed one night before leaving on a cruise, so we utilized the free shuttle. First to get picked up from the airport to go to the hotel, then to go to a local Walgreen's, then back to the airport the next morning to catch our transfer to Port Canaveral. Our driver Dillon was helpful and friendly. He drove us twice on arrival day. It was Valentine's Day when we arrived, the hotel was decorated for it. We went to the Evening Social to be pleasantly surprised at the offerings they had, not to mention being presented a heart box of chocolates for Valentine's Day when we sat down. There was beer, wine, and sangria. And a large variety of food, pizza, soup, a small salad bar, enough that we made a meal of it. Then a hot breakfast the next morning. The room was clean and roomy. I thought the room rate was a little high, but booked it because of the location and amenities. But with the amenities we ended up with a great deal, no cab expense three times, drinks and dinner, and breakfast.

I don't know how this hotel was so highly rated, it could only be because the staff really tries hard and is very accommodating.

Positive - Great front desk staff, received texts prior to arrival & bed comfort typical of Hilton, location close to airport

Negative - Small rooms with dreary decor, very loud AC, walls paper thin (woke to loud thumping upstairs) VERY loud airplane noise, unfortunately had a terrible night's sleep.
