We first visited an Ale House about 6 years ago on a trip to Orlando. We make a point to stop for dinner every time we are in Florida. Delicious food and desserts....good sized portions, great staff! Wish they had one in Cleveland!

We love the drink specials, you can actually have a drink or two without doubling your bill. The food is standard fare, but good prices and always well made. You get a lot of food for your money. Hint: If you like fajitas, order the combination chicken and steak, for $2.00 more you get a full order of each. My husband and I split that, have a few drinks and barely spend over $20.00. Atmosphere: There are a series of large wooden benches in the restaurant area. The floor is wood with TV sets everywhere. It is a relaxed casual place. They have an outdoor area that is perfect for Florida. We usually sit there during happy hour. There is a large bar in the restaurant and another one outside. One day we were there when a huge thunderstorm came through, and they just lowered the electric plastic covers over the windows, which was cool because we sat dry and cozy while we watched it storm.

Had the Fiesta Nachos and shared the buffalo chicken sandwich -- both were good. Some nachos were super salty. Server Andrew was very personable and never dropped the ball.

The Orlando Ale House was recommended to us by a local family member. It is 5 minutes from both Universal Studios and the Comfort Suites. Numerous food and drink specials are available at reasonable prices...$14.95 prime rib was very good. Their boneless chicken wings are good as is the soup, salad and sandwiches. The menu selection is ample, varied, and a step above typical bar fare. The room is large, clean and the service was good, ignoring the annoying upsell by our waiter. Would return.

We ate at the Ale House on a recommendation of a local family member and enjoyed it so much we returned during our vacation for a second round at their table!

Inexpensive, wide selection of food items, low key atmosphere - the service was friendly, efficient, fast and the multiple menu selections we chose were delicious!
We sampled ribs, Cajun pasta, salads, hand dipped onion rings, and an awesome sandwich called the 'Big Red'...each one satisfying and tasty in its own category.
The sweet tea here is the bomb (:
Don't hesitate to stop in here for a super satisfying experience; you will leave full or with a to go bag in hand!
