While at Orlando we kept seeing the fancy buildings along the highway. Yep it's the Holy Land experience. Little over the top on decorations but well worth the visit. Keep in mind this is a Christian exhibit with Old testament stories. Very well done shows and exhibits. BTW if you are a veteran you get a discount.

Regardless if you are/are not a fan of TBN ministries, you will thoroughly enjoy the "Holy Land Experience". There is something to do for all ages! I was not with kids when I went, but I saw a fair amount of youngsters playing around the exhibits geared for their age group.

Make sure you see all of the live dramas. They are the best part of the park, and have a good dose of faith and humor mixed in. The other areas are usually open and you can visit them when the dramas are not playing. Get your seat at least 15 minutes ahead of time...unless you want to sit up on the elevated side-seating.

The Scriptorium is must for any Bible historian. Although it is a timed, 55-minute walk through, there is a large collection of the various Bible throughout the centuries (Wycliffe and others) that are in perfect condition. Very educational and insightful of all those who have gone before, many risking their lives so that the Bible could be produced in native languages.

There are several places where you can leave prayer requests (and praise reports, testimonies) throughout the park, some focused on healing...but it was neat to this aspect where you can take advantage of their prayer team anonymously.

Food-wise...I found the main eatery (Esther's Banquet Hall) pretty good fare. Although they were out of lamb, the chicken kabob (with tatziki and another delicious sauce) with beet and carrot salad was excellent. I sprung the $7 for the souvenir refillable mug and used it throughout the rest of my day there.

Of course there are plenty of trinkets to buy. If you like Jewish-related merchandise (CDs, menorah, star of David, prayer shawl/talit, mezuzah), their selection was better than I expected. They had talit on sale for $15 (normally around $33), so I ended up buying three!

It was nice to be in a place that really honors Jesus Christ. All the exhibits and dramas point to the Savior, which made for a very spiritually encouraging and uplifting day all around. If you need a spiritual shot in the arm, I highly recommend you spend the day here. You will be blessed!

Well let me start off saying, when i found out we were going i was so excited..well my experience there was just mehhhh:(.. The entrance was absolutely beautiful..the costumes were phenomonal and the children activities i loved also. This place makes christianity seem boring..not much to do and really gears toward the 65+ crowd. Im 27 and love my faith but this place was a snoozefest..all there is to do is watch play after play and that gets tiring really fast... I wanted to love this place..maybe i will come back in 30 years!!

This was a great place to take one's family and not worry about language, crude jokes, etc. The shows were great and had a good Christian message, and all of the exhibits were very colorful and entertaining. You can see most everything in a day, but if you want to see ALL the shows and walk around, a day and a half might be good.
The cost is comparable to most amusement parks, so expect to pay at least $50.00.
The food choices are limited to 2 places and very little variety. Chips, a sandwich, drink and a cookie will run about $10.
the park is very clean and the employees are all dressed in Biblical costumes. They were very courteous and helpful.
A good place for great Christian Entertainment, but now that I've been once, I probably wouldn't go back a second time. I saw most everything there was to see, but I do recommend at least one visit to the park if you haven't been before.

This place is like no other attraction I have ever been to. There is so much to experience...communion with a cup to keep, history of the bible, a passion play and so much more. Plus the food is good and the employees above all the other parks. You owe yourself a trip to the Holy Land Experience. I have been to Israel twice and this does it justice!
