I've been all over the world, and never more disappointed with an attraction costing this much. At the time of our visit, HLE was charging $50 per person for adults. We are devout Christians, and there just isn't enough interesting, entertaining, or impressive exhibits for your money. I'm not sure what the development staff was going for here, as there is no continuity to the layout. All attractions seem to be placed in awkward locations, with often cheap, wholesale-esque and generic appearing figures and decorations. There were two life savers for us: The dramatic play, and the beginning of the biblical history temple. There are some really nice ancient relics there, quite possibly a gold mine for history buffs. And that's being generous, we really tried to find something to love here. Seriously people, even my 74 year old Catholic father-in-law came away unimpressed. Don't waist your money here, unless you just want to visit in order to lay claim to the bragging rights... Of which there are none.

A Park map of the place and Daily Schedule can be found on the website.
The 'Experience': It's hard to describe and relate this to everyone because expectations and religions vary. People have been disappointed on Tripadvisor ranging from the non religious to very religious. My family and I had a great time. The major attraction is the Church of All Nations. It's a big building with plays performed in it. If you plan to see every service there and see everything else in the park, you'll need 2 days. The plays are very well done ranging from visuals and performance to the messages conveyed. The last play is called 'Passion of the Christ' and I would recommend it to anyone who goes there. Also, the Scriptorium and the Ark of the Covenant are 2 shows that are in the park outside of the Church of All Nations that I went to that educate as well.
Parking: Free.. Looked adequate for the cars there. I had no problems finding a spot.
Size and visuals: Don't expect Six Flags, maybe no more than half that size. Then again, this place doesn't have rides. It's hard to describe but it's filled with models and replicas of all kinds of things related to the Bible and Bible stories. It's great for visualizing what's in the Bible without going to Israel. (I've been there 3 times while in the military.) Around the parking area before going in are models of animals, Nativity scene, Noah's ark, and others. Consider these freebies. There is a model Golgotha, Tomb, and Nativity (as seen from inside the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem) all inside the park. There is an outstanding wax model exhibit. Again, models and replicas abound here.
Price: Check the website. I was there for 2 days and it's slightly cheaper for the second day. The value of what you're getting will depend on the person.
Food: There are areas around the park to eat food. Chick Fil A food is there too. Oasis Cafe has the most food but it's not the only place to eat.
Gift Shop: A lot of stuff that you'll find in a gift shop ranging from the serious to souvenir/tourist stuff.
I don't know of any other place in the USA that goes into this much depth about the Bible in visual form.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS ATTRACTION FOR ANYONE! The plays were excellent, some funny, very relevant! They make stories in the Bible come alive! Pleasant atmosphere all thru the park,it really takes 2 days if you want to experience everything there, and you do!! Lunch is rather healthy, no French fries lol there are plenty things for children to experience CE as well. We took part in a communion service in the upper room, it was really nice!

i am very disappointed, i was excited for over a month about this trip and couldnt wait.. despite the reviews. i was hoping the bad reviews were incorrect and that i would leave their fullfilled.
$200.00 for 2 kids and 2 dults. small bookstore but huge gift shop with oils, more books, cd's shirts, pens, vitamins and anything with the name of Jesus, TBN or Holy Land on it.( i actually think anything offerred for a donation on any TBN program is offerred at this store) it appeared that the Holy land had more to sell to the customers than actual attractions. The cutouts are hidious, i cant believe that after all the horrible reviews that the Holy land has not removed them. with the money thats recieved, the Holy Land should pay more for people to actually walk around and greet people instead of having the awful cutouts of jesus sparatically placed around. i think its a waste of money. dont go when theres a big crowd expected. you really lose the "experience" . The very small rooms filled with artifacts will crowd and some people just dont move through the room to give others a chance to experience by viewing, taking photos, pray or whatever you feel the need to.

This is not only NOT opulent nor gaudy etc as God willed the Arc was layed in pure gold, Heaven itself is deco'd in gems & pearls.David and Job as were many other men of God were blessed with thousands of herds of animals (much money then),gold, many children, silver and beautiful architecture.Being not saying youre a Christian does bless you and people should know this.I have not been able to work and dont get disability but I have medication, food, a 2 story home and want for nothing.I truly believe and live by God's word.Saying youre a Christian and being one are two VERY different things.EVERYONE needs to live a Biblically based life not changing the meaning of God's word to match your desires nor mans.It also takes money to run a business such as food, electric, water and many other things these things cost HLE therefore its cost money to provide it for others to enjoy.Judge not lest ye be judged
