Description: 'Ohana restaurant in Disney's Polynesian Resort offers a Character Dining breakfast and a Polynesian-inspired dinner menu. Both meals are served family-style—quite fitting since 'ohana means family in the Hawaiian language.Character Dining at BreakfastJoin Lilo and Stitch for 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast! Feel like you're a part of their intergalactic 'ohana when you join them for an American breakfast influenced by the exotic tastes of the Polynesian islands. Menu selections include scrambled eggs, Island-style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausages, smoked bacon and a variety of fresh fruits and breads.Family-Style Polynesian DinnerWhen the doors open for dinner, the bellow of conch shells welcome you to 'Ohana. Adding to the island ambiance are tikis, storytellers and coconut races, in which children sweep coconuts with brooms across the hardwood floor down the center of the restaurant. The family fun continues as everyone is encouraged to play with hula hoops and dance to island music. The 'Ohana servers add to the festive atmosphere, as they dash between tikis and tropical greenery to bring plates of Polynesian specialties to your table. Choose from skewers roasted over an expansive 18-foot oak fire pit, and side dishes include stir-fried vegetables, fried dumplings, lo mein noodles and a salad starter.

We go here for breakfast every year at Christmas. It's always been a blast! Yummy food and lots of it. As always they will accommodate if there is a food allergy. The food keeps coming so go hungry it's full of eggs, meats, waffles, and biscuits plus fruits and breakfast bread. No need to worry about the characters missing you, they each come to your table for photos and autographs.

Ohana is a great restaurant, but if you are booking for the fireworks, you must get there early. We got there half an hour early with a reservation but were denied access because there were people from two hours earlier. There reservation system and enforcement is garbage. If you like hawaii then the restarant is beautifully themed but if you want to enjoy it recommened getting there 1.5 hours early

We've been to Ohana a handful of times so we have a level of experience on what to expect, and this last visit barely met those expectations.

I will start by saying I myself am a server so any requests I have are usually very lighthearted and always made with a please and thank you and generous gratuity.

Our server was downright rude. As soon as the three of us sat for our 9:25 reservation he said " oh great three people at my 6 top!!" Which in server language means he is making less money because the table was not packed full. I joked it off and he seemed to brighten up. But then when small requests for butter, or a photo of the family were met with a sigh and a roll of the eyes or "in a minute" we knew we were in for terrible service. I was "punished" for asking for a relaxed not rushed dinner (Ohana is kind of known for bringing food out nonstop) but this time we pretty much had to ask for each course to be delivered.

The food wasn't as good as past visits. I miss the salad! The lettuce wraps are horrible. The wings underdone and slimy....Not crispy and tasty as past experience. The only amazing part was the steak! And the view of wishes! For that alone I am thankful that we went.

This used to be a special place for us to spend time together as a family and we did have great conversation, but the entertainer was lackluster. Not to mention the ambience right now in the Polynesian is diminished due to tons of construction.

With three different polite request for a picture of our family we left with none. Morris hurried away from our table every chance he got. Even after we left an above 20% gratuity he still would not take our picture! I happily take photos of people every single restaurant shift I work....and I don't even work at Disneyworld... A place where you come to expect a certain level of kindness.

To sum it up. Food wise only the steak is great. The Wishes view was great. The service was notably poor. And the other food was average at best. Next time we will be trying Jiko or Boma in animal kingdom resort for our special family dinner at Disney.

This was quite pricey, but the food was excellent. The experience was fun. I would recommend having little children order off the children's menu as the all you can eat menu is expensive for the amount they consume.

This is a very nicely themed restaurant with wonderful food, a good selection of items on the menu and all of it was fresh and well presented. Good drinks, no cheapskating on the liquor. Not cheap prices, but not outrageous either. You get what you pay for. We ate here a lot while we stayed at the Polynesian.
