Description: 'Ohana restaurant in Disney's Polynesian Resort offers a Character Dining breakfast and a Polynesian-inspired dinner menu. Both meals are served family-style—quite fitting since 'ohana means family in the Hawaiian language.Character Dining at BreakfastJoin Lilo and Stitch for 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast! Feel like you're a part of their intergalactic 'ohana when you join them for an American breakfast influenced by the exotic tastes of the Polynesian islands. Menu selections include scrambled eggs, Island-style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausages, smoked bacon and a variety of fresh fruits and breads.Family-Style Polynesian DinnerWhen the doors open for dinner, the bellow of conch shells welcome you to 'Ohana. Adding to the island ambiance are tikis, storytellers and coconut races, in which children sweep coconuts with brooms across the hardwood floor down the center of the restaurant. The family fun continues as everyone is encouraged to play with hula hoops and dance to island music. The 'Ohana servers add to the festive atmosphere, as they dash between tikis and tropical greenery to bring plates of Polynesian specialties to your table. Choose from skewers roasted over an expansive 18-foot oak fire pit, and side dishes include stir-fried vegetables, fried dumplings, lo mein noodles and a salad starter.

If you go out for one nice dinner on your Disney Vacation make it Ohana by the Polynesian Village. This is our third time in three years going to Ohana and each time has been great. The atmosphere and the entertainment is nice but the food is the reason to come. We had 8 adults and 4 kids in our party this time. Everyone was thrilled with the food that was served. The meats served were chicken, pork, beef and shrimp and everyone was great according to our group. I loved the shrimp, so I passed on the other meats and just had the grilled shrimp. The waiter continues to bring as much food out of each variety until you are satisfied. The dessert was their famous bread pudding and a delicious ice cream. The bill for my wife and I which included the 18% tip already included, with no alcoholic drinks, was $95 and it was worth every penny. When we come back to the Disney parks next time, you can bet we will save one night out for dinner at Ohana.

This was our second time at 'Ohana and it was even better than the first. The food is wonderful, the service is fantastic. We even had a few drinks at the bar while we waited and they were delicious. My only regret is not wearing stretchy waisted shorts. The bread pudding is amazing! Love love love this place!!

We made reservations well in advance and were still made to wait a half an hour, seated at 9:30pm, after a long day of travel. The meal began with the dry and not very tasty bread, and gigantic salad with something akin to Good Seasons dressing with empty claims of papaya and tropical flavors. Then chicken wings and potstickers, followed by the server-distributed beef, chicken, shrimp and pork. Of all the beef stood out, and the rest somewhat dry and overdone. The banana bread pudding was great, but a gigantic/wasteful serving. All in all, this place spoke more of quantity, not quality.

Our reservation was for 8:30PM and we were not seated until about 9:00PM. They were extremely busy so this part was easily forgivable. What was not forgivable was the food. Dinner starts off with a loaf of coconut bread (dry and unappetizing) and a simple salad. Next come the fried dumplings (which were decent), chicken wings (not bad) and noodles with vegetables (decent). The meat (chicken, steak, pork, and shrimp) was so disappointing. Everything was over-cooked and dry and had the same bland flavor. The best part of the meal was the bread pudding dessert topped with vanilla ice cream. Overall, this restaurant was not worth the the time, price, or the stomach space -- skip it.

After trying for weeks to get a reservation we decided to wing it and see if we could be a walk in. We arrived around 4:45pm and there were already 2 parties in the walk-in line. At 5pm they started seating those with reservations and we were seated promptly at 5:30pm. It was well worth the wait. Things were a little hectic so a lot of the food came out at once but this was perfect for us because we didn't want to fill up on the bread. The salad was great (I kept going back for more while I was eating the main course), the meat was cooked perfectly and our server was good about bringing us more. My one suggestion is that you take more than one piece of pork because this is the only meat that only came around once and I would have loved another piece but by the time it came around we were already done our meal. Oh, and save room for dessert. Bread pudding sounds unappetizing to me but I tried this anyway and it was honestly one of the best desserts I've ever had.
