Description: 'Ohana restaurant in Disney's Polynesian Resort offers a Character Dining breakfast and a Polynesian-inspired dinner menu. Both meals are served family-style—quite fitting since 'ohana means family in the Hawaiian language.Character Dining at BreakfastJoin Lilo and Stitch for 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast! Feel like you're a part of their intergalactic 'ohana when you join them for an American breakfast influenced by the exotic tastes of the Polynesian islands. Menu selections include scrambled eggs, Island-style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausages, smoked bacon and a variety of fresh fruits and breads.Family-Style Polynesian DinnerWhen the doors open for dinner, the bellow of conch shells welcome you to 'Ohana. Adding to the island ambiance are tikis, storytellers and coconut races, in which children sweep coconuts with brooms across the hardwood floor down the center of the restaurant. The family fun continues as everyone is encouraged to play with hula hoops and dance to island music. The 'Ohana servers add to the festive atmosphere, as they dash between tikis and tropical greenery to bring plates of Polynesian specialties to your table. Choose from skewers roasted over an expansive 18-foot oak fire pit, and side dishes include stir-fried vegetables, fried dumplings, lo mein noodles and a salad starter.

“Good Food---Little Pricey”
Reviewed December 7, 2013

We had dinner there one night and the food was plenty and did not disappoint. Server was not overly friendly, but efficient. The place was crazy busy but he kept the food coming. The prices are on the high side but we were on the dining plan. I would definitely come back for the food and presentation.

“Awesome experience!”
Reviewed December 5, 2013

We ate at 'Ohana after a full day of fun in Magic Kingdom. The good was AWESOME and the service was very good. I think every future Disney vacation will include a reservation here. Book early, this is one of Disney's most popular eating establishments.

“Very good”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

We ate here Saturday after Thanksgiving so the place was hopping. Our reservation was at 6 and they were very prompt. Dinner was as expected, salad very nice, bread was just ok, meats were good and desert is enjoyable. It was quite loud in there as there was a large family table next to us with the kids at the end nearest us. There was lots of misbehaving by one particular child who the parents could not get under control. We have 2 kids as well and it was disruptive enough that we felt like the family should have taken the child out. Not a reflection on Ohana but just know that this is what you get possibly when you dine at Disney World.

A 2nd big table came in just as it was time for us to leave, our server nearly forgot us and it took forever to get our check. The service was just ok.

“Not what we had hoped.”
Reviewed December 2, 2013

A friend of mine had suggested this dinner for our family of 6. She advised to book our dinner in time to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks. We were seated in an area that not near the windows but we did make our way to see a few fireworks go off. It seems as if the trees outside are grown now and there wouldn't be a good view at all from any part of the dining area.

As far as the meal itself--we are a picky family so if you are too this probably isn't the place for you. We do not eat shrimp and only my husband eats pork. My children wouldn't eat the salad as it had a dressing already on it as well as mandarin oranges. The chicken & steak were both good (although a less expensive steakhouse chain would have been just as good) but had we been paying for this (used our Disney dining plan) I would have been pretty upset. The veggies were great as was the bread pudding but that's about where the good food ended.

I rated this as a good value for the money only because you could put away some serious meat here if that's your thing.

We had good service & the food did keep coming but I wouldn't go back to Ohana.
