Description: 'Ohana restaurant in Disney's Polynesian Resort offers a Character Dining breakfast and a Polynesian-inspired dinner menu. Both meals are served family-style—quite fitting since 'ohana means family in the Hawaiian language.Character Dining at BreakfastJoin Lilo and Stitch for 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast! Feel like you're a part of their intergalactic 'ohana when you join them for an American breakfast influenced by the exotic tastes of the Polynesian islands. Menu selections include scrambled eggs, Island-style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausages, smoked bacon and a variety of fresh fruits and breads.Family-Style Polynesian DinnerWhen the doors open for dinner, the bellow of conch shells welcome you to 'Ohana. Adding to the island ambiance are tikis, storytellers and coconut races, in which children sweep coconuts with brooms across the hardwood floor down the center of the restaurant. The family fun continues as everyone is encouraged to play with hula hoops and dance to island music. The 'Ohana servers add to the festive atmosphere, as they dash between tikis and tropical greenery to bring plates of Polynesian specialties to your table. Choose from skewers roasted over an expansive 18-foot oak fire pit, and side dishes include stir-fried vegetables, fried dumplings, lo mein noodles and a salad starter.

“WOW!!! Delicious & Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2013

O'hana was a very hard reservation to get! Thankfully after constant trying we were able to get one. Our first night at Disney we dined at O'hana! What a wonderful way to kick off our vacation. I thought the setting was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best part..... THE FOOD! As others have explained you start with the bread, then the salad and appetizers follow. Everything was so fresh, delicious and PLENTIFUL!!! The chicken wings and dumplings were so good and the dipping sauce was wonderful as well. The main course consisted of the noodles which had "stir fry" type veggies and sauce in them. They were so good!! The meat was all so flavorful and great. You should not leave hungry. The waiter and his assistant kept the food coming as long as you are eating. One bit of advice - for a piece of meat that is more well done get the first few pieces off the skewer. Steak, chicken, shrimp, pork oh my! You will want to overstuff yourself, go ahead you are on vacation. Just when you think you can't eat another bite, here comes the desert. There is no describing the desert. It was delicious! DELICIOUS!! Did you hear me? YUM! Our children were entertained by the coconut race and had a great time. I do not feel that our meal was rushed at all when you consider how the food is being prepared. Everything is being cooked to perfection for you and brought out as it is done. Our waiter kept our glasses full! This will be on our list for years to come. We can't wait for our next visit. You should make your reservations now before it is too late!

“A Great Experience!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

We went to the Ohana character breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. My son loves Stitch so, this was a must on our trip.

The characters are great! We got to see Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto! They came to our table and were great with the kids. I gave Mickey a hug and Stich stuck up behind me, it was fun!

Ohana is beautiful, you can see Cinderella's castle from the waiting area!!!

The breakfast was served family style in a skillet. We had eggs, potatoes, sausages, bacon, sweet rolls and fruit. We all loved Lilo & Stitch's favorite fruit drink. We drank a lot that, it was great!

“Tough to decide on breakfast vs dinner...do both!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

We have eaten here for breakfast and dinner..only breakfast is a character meal, so the kids like that the best! However dinner is unlimited meats on skewers that they bring to your table and includes dancing and parades/coconut races for the kids. My husband and I enjoyed the dinner meal immensely...it was different and served differently than any other place...breakfast is the regular breakfast fare (but there's nothing wrong with Mickey waffles!!) It felt like two different restaurants, so if you can, do Ohana for both. As a bonus, walking around the Polynesian is fantastic and if you eat late, you can walk out on the beach afterwards and watch the light parade on the lagoon or the magic kingdom fireworks.

“Easy Character Breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

My husband and I took our two year old to the character breakfast here in late April. I had tried to get into Chef Mickey's since we were staying at the Contemporary, but was unable. O'Hana ended up being a wonderful breakfast and character experience. The food is served family style- a fresh fruit platter and basket of bread, then eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes served on a platter, and Mickey waffles passed around. You can ask for more anytime and I think my husband drank two carafes of juice on his own. The food was pretty good. Some people may prefer to have a menu to choose from, but with very young children, I found the family style to be very handy. We didn't have to flip through a menu, wait to place our order then wait for the food. It just comes out. They are also very helpful if there are any dietary restrictions or allergies.

The characters are spaced out through the room (Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch) and about every 30 minutes they have a parade. Waiters hand out maracas and everyone can line up and parade around the room with the characters. The down side is that it takes Mickey and Pluto much longer to make the rounds than Lilo and Stitch. We were seated immediately after Mickey had left our table and had to wait nearly an hour!!! for him to return. Our waiter kindly mentioned to Mickey that we had paid up and were waiting, so he stepped over quickly for us to say hi.

All in all, it was a great breakfast and our son enjoyed eery minute of it! We will definitely go back to this breakfast (maybe try the dinner?) during our next visit.

“Our first ever meal in Disney!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013

This was our first time to Disney! We kicked it off with breakfast here. The service was AAAAAMAZING, the characters were great, the kids had a blast with the dancing. It was so great that my daughter started crying when she walked in and sat down. The food was eh, but it wasn't too bad. The atmosphere made it all worth it. We will eat here again for sure!
