Stayed at Bay Hill Feb 21-24. First Class experience - reasonable prices for food, old school clubhouse, well equipped pro shop. Option of taking a forecaddy and carts or walking with a caddy on the bag. Course was being set up for the PGA tournament in March and was in great shape, a real gem. We stayed in a number of the guest houses a short walk from the main building. They were two bedroom and a bit dated but roomy, with 2 bedrooms and baths and a decent kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Designed by the best in the business, Arnold Palmer. A great course to play, from the novice to the expert.

A group of 4 of us wanted to visit the Famous Bay Hill Golf Club on our last day in Orlando
and decided to phone first to ask if it was ok just to have a look around the club ,and it was no trouble at all,and what were the chances of seeing the Legendary Arnold Palmer sat on the terrace over looking the practice green.we built up a bit of courage to speak to him,and i must say what a real gentlemen he was ,it was no trouble at all for him to speak to us and have a bit of banter with him all in good taste,he even had time to have his photo taken with us and sign a few score cards .He did ask us if we had played his course yet ,and answered that we could'nt get on without an invitation and did he know someone who could get us on.,he gave a little laugh.
what a Legend and what a superb golf club . The picture is now proudly displayeday our golfclub in the U.K.

Stayed here for 2 nights, as we needed to find somewhere to stay before moving into a Villa.

What a great place. Quiet, professional, very reasonable and you felt special. You almost feel as if your a guest at a very exclusive Private Club, which you effectively are. We paid an average of $100 a night for the entire family. Breakfast not included but try Einteins Bagel Shop, a mile away. Fantastic.

Lunch at the poolside was great. Very reasonable. Resteraunt etc., was expensive, and we did eat out in the evening.

We had an entire Junior Olympic Size swimming pool to ourselves as I dont think this place is used frequently by tourists. Why, I have no idea. The rooms were beautifully furnished, with plenty of Arnold Palmer memorabilia. We had a fantastic view of the Golf Course (room 402).

3 miles from Universal and IDrive. Why stay anywhere else. This doesn't even factor in 2 world class golf courses that were empty, and also had great deals.

Only complaint was the limited (but free) WIFI connection, which was quite weak in the room.

Would stay here again. Fully recommend it.

In Daytona for vacation, friend gave us passes to the INVITATIONAL - we were very excited. Right from picking up our tickets at will-call to stepping onto the grounds, we were impressed at how much work goes into making this event so successful. So awesome to see golfers in "real life" - Phil Mikelson being our favorite. He was his usual gracious and personable self. Well done, Arnie. Too bad we didn't get to see The King in person. There's always next year!
