Owner description: Lake Eola Park is located in the heart of Downtown Orlando. The sidewalk that circles the lake is 0.9 miles in length, making it easy for visitors to keep track of their walking or running distances. Other activities available to park visitors include renting swan-shaped paddle boats, feeding the live swans and other birds inhabiting the park, seeing a concert or a play in the Walt Disney Amphitheater, grabbing a bite to eat at Relax Grill on Lake Eola or relaxing amid beautiful flower beds and a spectacular view of Orlando's skyline. Parking is free on Eola Drive on the east side of the park and there is metered parking on Central Boulevard and Rosalind Avenue. There is also street parking in Eola Heights and Thornton Park, a two to five block walk to the park. You can also park in any of the garages within a few blocks of the park. These include the Post Parkside parking garage at Osceola Avenue and East Central Boulevard; the Paramount/Publix parking garage at Lake Avenue and East Central Boulevard; and the Library parking garage at 112 East Central Boulevard. Please note: swans can get sick eating bread and popcorn. Visitors to the park can feed them lettuce, spinach, duck food pellets or buy food from the new swan feeders.

Swan paddle boats are too cute! Swans walk right up to you and you can feed them. Excellent for a photo opp!

I expected more from Orlando. I thought there must be shows or sections with cases showing bizarre stuff, but I find a normal park. I'm used to see such parks. Because I'm from Missouri... But still a great place to spend time in for Orlando people, for tourists, take an hour max nothing much to do

Beautiful lake in the middle of downtown Orlando. Great place to jug around and enjoy nature...too bad it looks more like a giant retention pond then a lake!

This park is just the most lovely place to visit. In all the craziness of Orlando tourism, what a pleasure to find this peaceful, serene (and free) park! Go at night, the lights on the fountain change colors, even jumping in time to the piped-in music sometimes! There are local eateries open, but we just walked around. It felt quite safe, lots of people about walking dogs, doing yoga, etc. Parking was hard do come by the night we visited, but well worth the effort.

I love to walk around the lake and visit all the swans. There are both white and black swans and if you go at the right time, you can see all their little hatchlings!
