The show was quite good and we really enjoyed the food as well. True to Disney standards - the service was excellent.
This show is fabulous for anyone who enjoys a very casual atmosphere, family-style service, and "country" entertainment.
The show is loud and something is always going on on the stage. The servers and potentially the entertainers will interact with you. (If you have a quiet and/or reserved personality, this may not be the place for you).

Warning: If you are taking Disney Transportation - it takes a LONG time to get to this show. If you use buses or boats to get to Fort Wilderness, once you get there you have to get off the bus that drops you at the main location and wait for another bus that goes back into the campground area. Once on that bus, there are still several stops before you get to the one for Hoop-Dee-Doo review. Even that stop is still a good walk to the restaurant. As this is a dinner "show" - the show starts on time and servers are taking drink orders immediately. If you are late you will be trying to slide around the back wall dodging servers delivering drinks and entertainers wandering through the crowd.

This is by far the best meal and show in Disney World. This show never gets old and the food is a wonderfully southern treat. I suggest attending when you have a special event because they will make it extra special for you.

My teens (ages 16 & 17) absolutely LOVE musical theater! So, this was the best place to come and enjoy dinner. The show was interactive and very entergetic. The food was great. It is all you can eat and served family style. We had fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, beans, bread, and finish it off with strawberry shortcake. YUMMY! I think I also knew the words to all the songs they sang since they were older campfire like songs. My family really enjoyed it and I'm sure yours will, too!

Unlike a number of previous reviews (who visited in 2012), we watched the show on June 10, 2013.

To be honest, my family and I were a bit hesitant to visit a "dinner show" at Fort Wilderness Campground. We could not have been more wrong about our initial thoughts. The show is great and the food is even better.

We had a table in Zone 2, Table 91, which was in the back left of the theater. The table wasn't crowded like those in Zone 1 and each of the performers in the show made their way to our table to say "hello."

As for the food, all you can eat fried chicken, ribs, mashed potatoes, gravy, baked beans, and strawberry shortcake. Maybe one of our favorite Disney meals.

Will we return? You bet we will!
