The JW holds up to JW quality. It's a nice area away from the craziness of Disney. All the attractions are a short drive away. As a gold card member, both parking and the internet were free; however, non-gold incur costs. The gym was great, it's shared with the Ritz. Friendly service. It's JW quality.

The JW Marriott in Orlando is an architecturally impressive property if not somewhat ostentatious. The check-in staff was friendly, fast and most efficient. The room was spacious with a separate shower and soaking tub. The bed was very comfortable and the view from my room was superb.
On the negative side, you have to pay $18 for self-parking and a $25 resort fee which is suppose to include Internet among other amenities. The room included a fridge but was marked as inoperative and it was. Room service was slow and food quality average but very expensive. At check-out, the Hotel tacked on the Internet fee to my folio, and I had to remind them that it was included in the resort fee. Overall, I can recommend this property if you can obtain at a significant rate discount as I did but be prepared for plenty of extra fees.

From the moment I arrived I absolutely loved this place. It was gorgeous. The room was very nice. The shops and restaurants were good. There was a garden outside where they grew herbs and various things to use in the restaurants. The breakfast buffet had everything you could imagine from chocolate Belgium waffles to omelets anyway you would like, egg frittatas, fresh fruits etc...
Outside was a paradise of beautiful plants and a lazy river. There were numerous pools and a giant chess set, volleyball. We relaxed in beach lounge chairs with a waiter who came around very often to bring drinks or food items. We mostly relaxed and did not venture out to the paddleboats, pontoon, golf course or excursions with various animal and bird watching.
We did enjoy a massage with hot rocks at the Ritz Carlton hotel with is attached next door.
We will stay again....can't wait!

We recently had a wonderful visit at this hotel.
Accommodations were very nice w/ friendly staff.
Very comfy bed - only negative about our room was ...no available refrigerator.

Pool area is really great. Numerous pools connected w/ a "lazy river". ( I floated on a tube & went around twice)
Very clean & EVERYONE was having a ball.
It's so much fun - very much like a water park.

I took a cooking class while at the hotel - in the Primo Restaurant. Fun.
We ate at Citron - very good but a bit overpriced - $27 for Breakfast Buffet !!
We ate at Fairways (at the Clubhouse). Food was great...Burger & Crab Cake Salad were both delicious - but restaurant was understaffed. Waited a very long time for each phase of our meal.
I would stay here again as the location is perfect... Sea World is only 5 minutes away..Universal & Disney World are 10 - 20 minutes away.
Transportation is available to the Parks.
It is centrally located between airport & attractions.

When you go to Orlando...this Hotel should be a destination for you!!

The resort has its own garden to grow food for the restaurants, which you can see while exploring the property. I loved walking around outside during the day while I was on break from classes. The lake was gorgeous.

This was like paradise inside and outside. Everything was impeccably clean. The service from Taneesha (front desk), Austin (lobby lounge) and Vance (outdoor reception) made you feel like royalty. I would go back again.

Room Tip: The view on the east was the beautiful landscaping.

This hotel is a great place to stay. The resort has great service. They have a small kid activity center and they have a spa and they also have golf. It is overpriced in the resort though. The resort is right near Sea World and there is a short drive which is about 15 min. to Disney World or Universal. The buffet does cost a lot and there is a nearby Keke's, Cracker Barrel, and Golden Corral. All in all, a great resort to stay at.
