I honestly can't say enough good things about the JW. Everything was great. Amazing food. Amazing pool. Great location close to everything but still far enough away to not feel in the heart of all the theme park madness. While I was there with some girlfriends, it is definitely a place I hope to bring my family to soon!

Stayed at this hotel for a business meeting. Everyone was very accomodating. My room was ready early which was awesome. Rooms nice and comfortable and clean. The gym was nice and the pool was awesome. It was around 92 so being inthe pool was great. Would love to come back and stay longer.

In the sense of large, this place is grand. The lobby has the quiet charm and intimacy of an aircraft hanger. And where a hotel is large, there will be attendant large amounts of people. If you are looking for a peace, this is probably not your best bet.

There were a number of minor but annoying problems. The bedside clock was 15 minutes late (remind me to tell you about the time the clock alarm went off at 330 am- the room people hadn't switched it off). The toilet lid wouldn't stay up which is a problem for 50% of readers. Room service took 25 minutes with a simple task. I was on hold for about a minute each time I called the hotel operator. I ate at two restaurants- both of them had a lengthy period between being seated and being attended to- I hate that, don't you?

None of these are terribly important issues but together they do perhaps suggest- how shall I put this?- a slight lack of rigor when catering to large numbers of people.

My husband and I again returned to the J W for our wedding anniversary. The JW never seem to disappoints. From the moment we walked in the door my husband and I were made to feel important. Cher in the lobby bar was magnificent .Forgot my phone charger at home and the concierge were more than happy to charge it for me everyday. The pool was a little packed because this was during the 4th of July holiday but that was well to be expected. Wewill return again for our anniversary next year asthis is now our tradition. Thank you JW for not disappointing us again.

From the moment that you turn onto the property you know that it's luxurious. The hotel is in a nice and quiet location, surrounded by beautiful trees and the outstanding lazy river. Check in is very quick and efficient with very friendly and accommodating service. My family and I spent the majority of time at the pool, relaxing by the lazy river. Be prepared however if eating on the property to pay a pretty penny. $80.00 for a burger, a salad, chicken tenders and quesadilla's at Quench. Overall a very nice and pleasant stay, can't wait to return.

We spent 8 nights here in July. The staff is great they go out of there way to be friendly. By mid week everyone remembered our last name from The valet staff to the Starbucks employees. The grounds are beautiful the pool is similar to a Caribbean resort. The only complaint is the standard room is a bit small for a family of four. We normally like to experience different hotels but will return here again I doubt there's a better property in Orlando. Half the price of the overrated Grand Floridian in Disney and twice as nice.

We only stayed two nights, but we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Check-in was seamless and the level of hospitality is un-matched. There is not one bad thing, even slightly-less-than-average thing, to say about the level of friendliness shown by every person working there.

Our room was the cheapest available, and we couldn't have been happier with it. So if that is the least expensive room, I can only imagine what the higher class rooms are like! The room was impeccable, as was the entire resort.

The pool is great; the lazy river is just that: a place where you can just be lazy and enjoy the atmosphere and refreshing water. An added bonus for us - me - is the zero entry part of the pool so it's easy to get in and out of without any trouble. I'm disabled and it was nice to see the chair lifts positioned around the pool and the lazy river for people with disabilities to be able to enjoy the pool as much as fully-abled folks.

Make sure you ask about gratuity; pool service for food and drinks has gratuity built into the price.

Because we had such a great time and thought our experience was top-notch, it's hard to be objective. But, I can share with you that you need to bring a considerable amount of money with you when you stay there. And this is the only knock on the property - the fees are enough to make a reasonable stay very expensive. For example, a $20 resort charge added to the bill each day, another $24 parking charge added each day you have a car parked there (we chose to valet; self-parking is $18 a day). A tube for the lazy river is $7 (you have to buy it, and then it's yours). WiFi is another fee if you want to get connected. You would think the 'resort fee' would cover much of these incidentals.

And then there's the food: $17 for a cheeseburger is a bit much, even at a resort (it was delicious and juicy, but $17???). You can use that price for a cheeseburger to gauge the rest of the prices on the menu.

In summary, as long as you don't mind paying for J.W. Marriott service and quality, you will not be disappointed in this resort!
