The condo/ room we had was a 2 bedroom unit. It had a full/queen in the master with a jetted tub and a tiled shower. Very nice. In the living room there was an island where we ate dinners and breakfast and part of it was the living are with a large flat panel tv and a leather pull out sofa. In the 2nd bedroom there were 2 twin beds, a wadrobe and a tv as well. There was a 2nd bathroom that could be accessed from the kitchen/living room or from the 2nd bedroom.
The check-in process was smooth and easy. We were in our room within 15 minutes.
The pool was big enough. It was never crowded, even on the week-end evenings. It was always too hot for us to go during the day. There was also a kiddie pool that was probably 2 feet deep. The kids (ages 3,5) loved this pool. There is no life guard. There were usually pool towels at the pool's sauna area readily available.
There are DVD rentals in the lobby. We didn't find out til the last night of our trip. We had previoulst gone to Redbox to rent movies the week prior.
There is no resteraunt on site. However, at their sister property: Westgate Lakes there is the smokehouse grill and the food was great. We receieved a coupon book from guset services and the meal was 50% off. The coupon book also has many other resteraunts and particiapting area attractions who will give %off of admission prices. That helped alot.
Parking was the WORST on week-ends. So much so that we had to park on the grass (parking attendant led us there) and after the amusments parks close on week-ends parking is terrible. But through the week there was no problem at all finding parking.
Room service doesn't come everyday unless requested but that wasn't so bad because we do not like people in our rooms unnecesarily. When we needed stuff we would just ask.
There is a shuttle from Westgate to area attractions. You do have to sign up the day before and there are scheduled times for going and coming.
I didn't visit the bar at the hotel located near the pool. But saw many people there relaxing.
Overall this was a clean property with nice accomodations. Much better than a hotel.
My husband and I purchased a rental week and did have to sit through a short (30 minutes) talk about purchasing the timeshare. We didn't purchase and they sent us on our way. Included in the 30 minutes was breakfast on Westgate. The breakfast was not the best but it was free so I will not complain. Happy travels!
