This is in the heart of what made International Drive famous. Souvenier shops, kitchy attractions, well... You get the idea.
There is really nothing wrong with the property, itself. It's well-kept, and a fairly recent edition of the Hapton Inn design. The staff is friendly, and the rooms (I had a small one-room "suite") are fine. My only complaint was that the treadmill in the exercise room was broken.
The internet was among the fastest I have ever had at a hotel.
The hotel is right against the freeway, so you get that noise.
This is also a family hotel... Be prepared for kids and frazzled parents everywhere! At breakfast, I had to compete with flocks of pre-teens in their PJs wandering around getting food.
The luggage carts are also at a premium, and the lobby will be crowded with bags and groceries at check-in and check-out.
Overall not horrible, and a decent value. I would not suggest this for the non-family set.More
