Having been fortunate enough to eat at FDC in Brazil, I wanted to treat my family to the same Brazilian BBQ experience. Yes:it's not cheap (as a family of 2 adults/2 kids, we spent $300+) & No: it's not your typical steak house experience but as long as you know it's a fixed price menu & how the meats are served, you're in for a treat with the BBQ experience.
We all loved the buffet (you could eat enough there alone) but my kid's really enjoyed the red/green light meat serving system & the fact they could keep on eating the various cuts that they liked again & again. My wife enjoyed the complimentary sides especially the caramelised banana. I did notice that after a few rounds, you have to encourage the severs to come over to you but most of them were very friendly & helpful. What with an expensive bottle of red; deserts; & the obligatory service charge on top, it was our biggest splurge on holiday but a lot more satisfying than eg a dinner show.
