Islands of Adventure is a lot more fun than Universal Studios park. Harry Potter is the most popular and fun section by far! Expect crowds here but it is really great to see Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade. It was fun posing with the Dr. Seuss characters who were roaming around and seeing the Marvel Super Heroes like Spiderman and Wolverine jump onto motorcycles and ride off. Lots of teens here when I went. I can see why people say it is better suited to them than young kids. Might be too much spectacle and bombast for the little ones.

The coasters were a blast, wish there were more of them
very touristy feeling with a store exit after every ride. okay if you were from another country, but being a Floridian, not really desireable.

The only reason to go to Islands of Adventure is The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The rest of the park is too loud and the rides are not that great. Harry Potter more than makes up for the rest of the park, though.

Amazing park bit shocked to see that King Kong jaws ad crack to the future rides no longer there but hey ho things change and wow Harry potter was amazing arrived early to beat the queue for it and everyone else did the same hour and half queue went back mid afternoon only 30mins to queue so don't rush! Mummy ride was good to and spider man not to be missed don't do roller pastes I'm afraid so can't comment on them. Only down fall I would say was purchasing a meal ticket that let u eat in three cafe around universal and the food was awful of course it was covered by the better cafe's and u can't take a packed lunch in you get searched on all the park gates

I love Universal, CityWalk & IOA. So much fun, different themes, so laid back and plenty to do, see, eat & enjoy. It's true that it may be enjoyed more by older kids & adults but how can you give it a low rating for that? That doesn't make it a bad place. Also, what are employees supposed to do when you tell them that? Nothing they can do. Disney is awesome as well but definitely more for little kids. I love it also but that doesn't make it better. If you are laid back and can just enjoy life, you will enjoy the whole Universal of Orlando experience. My family and I always do. (Including the little ones) By the way, none of the parks (including Disney) can help if it's crowded or if there are long lines so to rate low or complain about it, is unfair.
