“Great Fun”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

You can easily do this park in a day, especially if you have the express pass (highly recommended). I'm a big roller coaster fan, and the Hulk is an outstanding ride- worth doing multiple times. The dragon challenge coasters used to be set to run together so that you would run right at one another during a part of the ride. This wasn't the case this visit, but they're still very good coasters in their own rights. I really recommend the front row on these. I'm not as big a fan of the video assisted rides like Harry Potter, Spider Man, etc. Dr Doom drop was pretty weak.

The theming in the wait for the Potter ride is excellent as is the whole of Hogsmeade. Do not waste your time in line for the wand selection bit. They only pick one person out of the group anyway. Just buy one and be done with it. Also, get the frozen Butterbeer- it's like a butterscotch slushie- super sweet.

If you do the wet rides, get ready to be soaked. Consider bringing a change of clothes, even.

The eighth voyage of Sinbad was surprisingly good if you want to sit down in the shade for a while.

Ate lunch at Mythos, which was a nice respite.

“Great Fun and Adventure”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

This park is newer than the main Universal site which is next door and the Sets are brilliant, especially Harry Potter. The rides, theatre and staff make this an exciting day with lots of fun. We certainly enjoyed it more than the Disney Magic Kingdom and about the same as Hollywood Studios.

“Fun for All Ages”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

We took the kids ranging from 3 to 14 and they all had fun. The older kids love the coasters and the younger ones love Suess Landing and anything to do with water. The lines weren't too bad except Spiderman and Harry Potter. We have season passes and go often. We love taking in lunch at Mythos and always make it a point to hit Jimmy Buffet's. Tamika was out waitress at Buffet's and she is very prompt. She was able to get our party of ten out in under 45 minutes.
