We have been in this "British" themed bar a few times on our previous visits to Orlando. It is well situated in an area packed with very good restaurants including Capital Grill and Maggianos, both of which are first class. We have only ever had drinks at The Pub so we decided to eat here on Sunday evening. There were 5 of us and we were seated pretty quickly in a good sized booth, the service was fast and very friendly. The bar itself is large and looks like a cross between a good Weatherspoons and an American Sports bar. We all ordered main courses only, the salmon dinner was the best choice, the bangers and mash looked authentic but unfortunately that's where the similarity to the real thing ended, the sausages were spicy and tough. The fried chicken and chips were ok although the chicken was a bit dry. The main problem (not uncommon in the States) was the food was all only a smidgen away from being cold, being served on cold plates didn't help any. If you do visit make a point of asking for hot food and don't expect too much.

I arrived in Orlando with my wife on Monday 11 March and decided to walk to the pub on the Tuesday at approx 5pm: To be met with the sign closed for a private function. A member of staff suggested we come back at 1030: Quite frankly it is obvious this place cares more for corporate customers than individuals. They did not give a dam that we had walked over a mile to get there. We spent over 300 dollars in the place on our last visit in September 2012. There is no way we will spend anywhere near that this time. REMEMBER CORPORATE IS THERE MAIN INTEREST.

Dined at The Pub while attending a convention. We had a group of 7 and only waited at the bar for a few minutes before seating, Staff nice and a classic Irish Pub. Good assortment of food - each member in our group ordered something different and we all pleased with the food. Chicken Pot Pie was awsome.

Stayed at the Peabody and this quickly became the regular watering hole. Great welcome, hospitality and range of drinks. They have lots of screens showing sports and always showed the Premier League games, one of the only places I could find. Happy hour was good value and the food is very nice. Chicken and sliders a particular favourite.

If you want a good place to grab a pint while watching the football, this is the place in Orlando.
