I would rate this hotel as average. We booked through Priceline and got a very good rate. The room was just average no microwave, no refrigerator. My main complaints were that we could hear the people in the room next to ours and the air conditioner vent was right next to the head of the bed and it was extremely loud. I would definitely had asked for a different room if I had not booked through Priceline because of the loud a/c unit.

We stayed at this hotel recently for the second time and once again there is absolutely nothing to fault. We are able to totally unwind the minute we are warmly welcomed on arrival. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any staff member and the standards are exceptional. We will certainly return when opportunity arises if only to chill out for a week.

Room Tip: Its generally a quite hotel but a room facing the pool is always nice

We stayed here for 8 nights whilst visiting theme parks in Orlando. The location is great, 5 mins drive to universal, 10 mins to seaworld and short walk to international drive.

The rooms are big and the beds are amazingly comfortable, just what we needed after a day at the parks. everything is clean and house keeping was great.

Free parking which was a bonus!

Big pool area - could do with an update but adequate for catching a bit of sun after a long day at the parks!!

A few negatives - The air conditioning unit we had however was right by our heads and was a little noisy. There is no free wifi. Steer clear of the breakfast - it was so overpriced and the waitress we had was very rude. Go to Perkins which is a 2 min walk away.

We would definately stay here again.

We booked through Priceline (this hotel is supposedly four stars...) and got a Studio room at the hotel, which was spacious and included a small kitchenette. The only problem was that the couch bed was not changed from the previous guest!!! The problem was quickly remedied, but this was very off putting. The hotel is large and uninspiring, with a nice atrium. Typical of an upscale three star hotel. The pool looked lovely, but the gym was outdated. Overall we had a good stay at this hotel, although we probably would look elsewhere next time in the area.

Coming back to this hotel regularly really makes you feel at home far from home.
Stepping in to the lobby you immediately get a "holiday feeling", whether you are there for business or fun. Kind of relaxed atmosphere, no hassles over whatever. The hotel has a nice pool and garden,an outside sitting area, so you can have your breakfast on the terrace. All the staff is really friendly and helpful, especially the concierges who are always patient to answer all the questions you may have about getting around and also the waiters from "casa del sol" and "elements".
The rooms are bright and airy, with a cuddly sleeping corner and the beds are famous for giving you a restful sleep. Great idea to have clips on the curtain to make sure no light falls into your room at morning to keep you sleeping soundly. Cleanliness and maintenance are at top level and housekeeping is very efficient. (needed a new iron, it was replaced immediately.)
In case you don't have a car, ask for Randy at "Legends Transportation", he is really a great driver and has a lot of Information. Some stores like Walgreens, Whole foods etc are even at walking distance, so you can get along well by your own. Plenty of restaurants and bars are around the corner, so you will be missing nothing out.
There is even a small gym in case you need to do your workout.
All in all, this hotel is perfect for me, can't wait to get back.

We stayed here for 13nights in June for our Honeymoon. We were checked in in about 5 minutes after a long flight and given advice where to grab something to eat and where was close by. We were given a room on 6th floor without a view really but the room was nice and spacious. The pool area itself was a nice size never too crowded but the jacuzzi and pool bar were always busy late at night which was a nice way to finish off a busy day at the parks. The Pool etc stays open to 11pm which is great. The breakfast was really good giving you the option of toast, cereal, fruit, omlettes, bacon eggs etc. The dinner in the evening wasn't very good bit expensive aswell as room service. So we just ate out majority of the time. TGI Fridays was our favourite and good value and there were a few of them on I Drive. The location was good and it is the best hotel we have probably stayed in. I stayed in a 5star in Clearwater and its better than it. The girl on the excursions desk was a bit annoying trying to get us to buy into Holiday Inn resorts but because you have to earn a certain wage we just kept saying we didn't earn enough. This was the only bad thing about hotel. I wouldn't stay in any other hotel on Idrive as they all looked very worn and old compared to the Crowne Plaza.

This is a great place to stay for business or families.
The rooms are VERY clean, the service is above average here there are no smells in the rooms, which are well maintained and cleaned. You have a fridge and a small sink. No microwave unless you request one.
The pool area is large and the restaurants are well staffed and serve good food, the parking is free.
Nothing bad to say about this gem. Good location too. And the view is GRAND when you are facing Universal Studios side!
I'd go back to this place again.

Room Tip: Ask for the side facing Universal Studios. And well above the 7th floor.
