We stayed in this room from oct 9-16 of 2018. We loved not having to get our bags to our room. The room was large enough and it was nice it had a master bedroom. I wish the table was a little bigger but worked well enough. The room was a little dirty when we arrived but nothing bad dust on things high up but overall not bad. Beds we comfortable minus the pull out couch bed was little hard, but that's what you get with that kind of bed. We loved the lay out of the resort easy to get to one of the 3 pools, beautiful statues to take pictures with. Had a little playground my young boys loved to play on. The pools were beautiful even lights up at night in the big blue pool. The cars pool area was neat had the cones as you cabana which was a nice touch. Lots of lifeguards, they were very nice. The one things we didn't care for was the food, it was good but not many choices after a few days of eating their twice a day. Wish the meal plan was better explained at check in. You can turn in one meal for 3 snacks so make sure you cash those in so you don't lose to many. Make sure you understand the kids meals, ask someone on you first time to make sure you don't miss out like we did. We discovered after the 3rd day that you can walk to the pop century resort (5-10 min Walk) and get food their as well, their selection was a little better and different then the on for AOA. The staff was very nice, and helpful. My biggest thing I didn't like was the fact they stop checking bags for airlines at 12 (noon) we had a late flight and took our time packing and bring stuff down had breakfast to find out we were to late to check anymore and had to roll them ourselves along with everything else. Wish it was posted or explained upon check in. (maybe it was and I missed it) All and all it was a beautiful place to stay and will be even better now that the Skyliner is up and running. We are looking forward to staying here again in 2022.

This is considered one of the "value" Disney resorts but they do not cheap out. The hotel was quite nice and the standard room was cute and adequate. The pools were awesome. The food was good, including excellent room service. And of course everyone was super friendly. But nothing beats the convenience of those shuttle buses - we were able to visit 3 theme parks in one day! Even though it rained quite a bit we still had a great time and will definitely be back. PS do not book your magical Disney vacation through expedia, they almost ruined our trip!

This resort is great if you want to be reminded that you’re at Disney. I love the larger than life characters and the overall feeling of ‘magic’. I can’t say enough great things about the new skyliner. It was fantastic to be able to get over to Epcot and Hollywood studios in such a fun and extremely efficient way, so that adds a ton of value to staying at this resort. The room was cute and totally decked out in little mermaid theme, but the beds at pop century (which has been recently refurbished) are much comfier, so I’m hoping art of animation gets the same treatment soon as well. A couple other things that could be better: I’m not sure why there’s not a coffee maker in the room but that seems pretty standard for a hotel (even pop century has coffee makers!) so I’m hoping they’ll add them to the rooms. Last thing that I noticed was how freezing cold the pool was. I know it’s hot outside but the pool water was almost unbearably cold, and I heard quite a few other guests saying the same thing (also please bring back the music to the finding Nemo pool!). All in all, cute hotel and we love the new skyliner, just needs some tweaking to get it to “excellent” status.

When I stay here with my family, I always feel like I have stepped into the whimsical world of one of our classic animated films! I must admit that The Little Mermaid section of this Resort hotel is my absolute favorite. Strolling past all of the familiar icons from the film and passing by the whozits and whatsits galore is such a magical way to start your day. Isn't it neat how the theming continues inside your room?

Even though there were a few hiccups during your stay, I am glad you enjoyed your vacation overall. Thank you so much for sharing some feedback about your visit. We hope to "sea" you real soon.

I would like to thank Edwege (her name tag stated she was from Haiti) and I may
not have the spelling correct. This nice young lady brought my salad and coffee
to the counter and she realized that the coffee was not hot and she said I want
to get you another cup as this one is kind of cold! I thanked her as I appreciated her
attention to detail!!!!! She cared and she didn't even know that I am a coffee person.
I love coffee and drink it wherever I go. It is kind of like a comfort drink for me.
Thank you for hiring such a nice young lady who really cares about the customer!

Overall it could have been nicer. This was my first time ever staying in a Disney resort and I guess I just expected more. You're paying for the convenience and character themes. The staff was attentive. The lobby had an arcade, gift shop and cafeteria. Food was expensive but I expected that from Disney. It was open late which was very nice after a long day out. The room was Finding Nemo themed and was adorable. Our bathroom door had a pocket door and was off its track. That made closing and opening it difficult. The beds were not overly comfortable but, they seemed newer and in good condition. I enjoyed our stay but it's not that much different from a regular hotel. The buses running to and from the different Disney locations was extremely convenient. And I really enjoyed the magic bands. Way easier than a key card.
