Unfortunately our experience at Art of Animation was not up to the standards we are accustomed to at Disney. When we arrived in our room the floor was wet from the a/c. They stated they came and repaired that but it was wet again the following day and the room was very warm during the day, but did cool down in evening. We have 4 kids and this trip was our twins first trip AND their 5th birthday. I set up a call for their first trip, and no one called. I then set up a birthday call and let them know they did not call for first visit call, they apologized and assured me they would call and leave a message if we were not in the room. We had told the twins while at the park "I think someone called us when we were gone" we ran to the room and NOTHING. I also found it very annoying that they only have one line for those checking in and for current guests with questions/needs. One day I had to wait for 30 minutes to ask a question that no one else could answer, they all kept referring me to the front desk. Lastly unfortunately the food selection was not great at all, breakfast was the best. Unfortunately the staff in the cafe were far from friendly. One morning the line with waffles had run out of bacon, but all other lines had bacon. They refused to get bacon from one of the other lines, and said our only option was extra sausage if we wanted. I really do not like writing a negative review, especially for Disney, but unfortunately this one doesn't get a positive one. We had planned on having a few relaxing nights at the resort to swim but ultimately decided on other resorts and Disney Springs since we were not happy.
