Just got back from 12 night stay, hotel always clean, staff helpful( grocery shopping ordered and put in room whilst at theme park allday). Very conveniant location for all parks and I-drive. No problems at all. Would stay again.

This is a huge self-service hotel very convenient to all the major theme parks. I booked the hotel at a rate of around $85 a night. Positive surprises were the large pool area that stays open until 11pm, the size and amenities of the rooms (full kitchen and sleeper sofa) and the quick access to the Disney parks via I-4. There weren't any negative surprises, but I would describe the breakfast buffet and the quality of the furnishings in the rooms and around the property as only slightly better than average. There are only two sets of elevators (one on each end of the hotel) so be prepared for a hike to the breakfast buffet if your room is in the middle of the building.

I searched long and hard for a decent Orlando hotel under $100 with free breakfast that could accommodate my family of five. This place was the winner using that criteria and I won't hesitate to stay there again if I am in the same situation.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near elevator and as far away as possibe from Interstate 4.

The hotel is nicely located close to International street. The management and staff were very friendly and personable. I enjoyed visiting with them. The hotel itself is nice, not great but worth staying at. Rooms are good size, clean and have kitchenettes. The hotel was under renovation of entry way when I arrived. They finished up and new look is very nice, breakfast was good add was the evening social and appetizers. Lots of good restraunts and bars with in walking distances. Seafood is a 5-10 minute drive as is the convention center. Free parking too.

Plenty of hotels in area.

Our family of 5 spent a 4 day/5 night weekend at this hotel and we had a very nice time. The whole hotel is VERY clean. The grounds are neat and attractive. The lobby is large and inviting and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They printed us directions from mapquest for a few things and helped us make dinner reservations instantly.
The breakfast buffet is also well done. Pretty good quality for a hotel breakfast, although flavored creamers would be a nice addition. The snack bar by the pool was decent quality, although a little pricey.
The rooms are comfortable and even with having 5 people in a studio (2 Q & a pull-out sofa) we had plenty of room. The only complaints I had about the room was that the small table only has 2 chairs and the shower needs a clothes line to hang wet swim suits.
The pool was nice with a zero depth end for even the littlest travelers, although you cannot see it from every angle so keep your eyes on the kiddos. Also, please note that the elevators are only located on the ends of the building and the lobby and breakfast are in the middle of the building. You can take the stairs that are in the middle of the building, but it does make for a lot of walking back and forth. And there really were no activities to speak of outside of swimming in the pool. We had a rainy day that we spent at the hotel, thank goodness we brought our own card games.
Thank you Residence Inn, we had a lovely vacation!

Room Tip: Elevators are only located on the ends of the building.

Great buffet every morning, but you are served the same food so you will get sick of it
if you are staying more than a couple days.
Room was nice with a kitchen and fridge. We ordered groceries from a local delivery place and the hotel was kind enough to put them in the fridge for us as our plane was late (great service)
The only issue I have with this hotel is they advertise a free shuttle to all the parks.
THis is ONLY if you buy tickets from the hotel. When i told them i was looking to get a shuttle and i already ordered tickets online I was told the shuttle was full.
THe people behind me said they wanted to buy tickets and i overheard her saying the shuttle was empty?!?! i watched the shuttle pull up..it was empty and took 6 people from the hotel.
If the free shuttle service is ONLY if you buy tickets at the hotel..then let people know this.
Dont make it look like the hotel shuttles for free!!

We stayed here in a 2 bedroom suite early October. We were spending some time with our son and his family who were staying at Marriott's Grande Vista Resort.

The Residence Inn was clean and very roomy. Excellent rate. The staff ...friendy and helpful. There is a shuttle to the parks but do not know the info because we did not use it. It appears they had the same type of faciliies as the Grande Vista----pool, bar, Pizza Hut. From afar all looked very clean and well kept.

We did use the pool, bar and Pizza Hut at the Grande Vista. Reasonable prices on beer, good pizza and great pools. Really a very nice area to sit and relax in. At this time of year it was not crowded so that made it extra nice around the pool area.

My son had a 2 bedroom suite. It looked in need of an update. Furniture was a little worn looking. They rented a crib and a pack and play from the local baby rental facility and I was not at all impressed by the cleanliness or lack of I should say. If you are renting baby equipment make sure you bring Lysol Disinfectant wipes.

Both hotels are extremely close to Seaworld. Disney, etc. is not far and there are tons of restaurants, Publix, Walgreens and CVS so you can stock up at reasonable prices.

Finally, at check in a noticed a sign on the wall. Pets are accepted....a $75 flat fee. Weight acceptable is approx 25 lbs. The $75 is not per dog...so for me that meant my 2 dogs, if you averaged their weight, would have come in about 25 lbs. and we would not have had to bring them to the pet sitter! I certainly will remember to bring them next time!

Room Tip: Nicer view higher and elevators came quickly.

Room was very nice, roomy and up to date. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Best free breakfast we have ever had. Nice pool. A lot of people but they seemed to do well accommodating them all. Just 20 minutes to Disney.
