If you are heading to this type of hotel, you will be getting what you pay for. These type of "inns" are what motels used to be. It's late at night and you have no where else to stay. So you check in, you crash on a very comfy king size bed, you wake up early, get some empty carbs like fruit loops or white bread, some coffee and away you go. If you happen to be visiting Universal Studios, its right next door. For you active types, that means you can walk the mile to the entrance of the park and save $15 on parking. Otherwise, don't expect much.

One on hand, the rooms have been updated recently and have a fresh coat of paint. You get HBO and other basic cable channels. You also get a pretty good free WiFI connection. There is ample free parking. On the other hand, the common areas need an overall update and renew. The breakfast area was always packed, loud and impossible to sit in. You are not supposed to fit all those people in such tight quarters. The nutrion-less carb buffet was flimsy and will barely hit the spot (better if you go around the block to Denny's). It's only available from 6AM to 9AM. By 8:50AM the attendant was already taking away the little that remained. Also, this happens to be a pet friendly hotel. If you have allergies, make sure to ask for a room that has been pet free, as most rooms are carpeted. The one elevator in the hotel had dog urine sitting for over 12 hours on one particular night. It had become sticky and everyone was stepping on it.

Overall, I really can't complain. In very expensive Orlando, you get what you pay for and this inn at about $100 a night deserved three stars. Would've scored 4 if it weren't for the lack of good sanitary conditions.

Friendly Staff, Great Price and Good location! I Love that they provided a free shuttle to Universal Studios so I didnt have to pay $15 a day for parking and they were only 20 minutes away from Disney so that was easy to find. Plus, they sold discounted tickets to all the parks in the lobby so I didnt have to go to the Park gates and wait for my tickets. Quick and Easy which is always great for me! Wide variety of Restuarants in the area to choose from in walking distance so again another plus. Rooms were comfy and clean. Over all, another stay with Laquinta Inn hotels and I am loving them.

Pros: good value, nearby to Universal Studios (we walked), included breakfast (typical continental quality), friendly/helpful staff, clean room.

Cons: Pretty basic, nothing special here. Thin walls: hope for quiet neighbors. No Fitness center. Though they advertise a shuttle to Universal, it only goes once a day.

We would most likely return here for our next trip, it was a good value, but nothing special.

Great staff from start to finish Beth friendly and knowledgable. Got back to our room from the parks and the bed was great and slept like a baby.

The breakfast bar in the morning was well managed and stocked.

Great stay for us!!
