Noticed that this restaurant had opened up while shopping for groceries at Publix. It looked interesting, and I read the review in the Orlando Sentinel that was very positive. So I talked my husband and our friends into going the other night. Let's just say by the end of the evening, we were already planning our next visit - it was that good!

When we arrived we were immediately greeted by the owner and seated. The owner asked if we had visited before, and explained the menu. We decided to order the Papa Rellena (meat-stuffed mashed potato cake) and fried calamari as appetizers. Both dishes were excellent, and we got quite a bit of calamari - this dish would certainly serve 4 people as a substantial appetizer with no problem.

We ordered drinks as well - sangria and house wine. The sangria was good, but a a bit pricey ($6.50 a glass). My friends got the house wine, and the only problem was that the white wines were not chilled. Note to owner - please chill your whites! I guess I would recommend the sangria by the pitcher if you have enough friends drinking with you!

For the main courses, I had the Peruvian Paella (Arroz con Mariscos) while my husband had the Pollo Saltado. Both were outstanding, and substantially sized. In fact, we both took home leftovers. While we did not have dessert, there were several choices (including flan) that I will have to try in the future.

Service was quick and friendly, with the waitress taking time to explain the dishes. The actual space is large and open, and several tables were occupied the Friday night we visited. The owner mentioned that they have live music on Tuesdays, and were going to do a 'party' night once each month with live music, etc. I definitely will have to go back for those. In terms of the cost, the meal was about $65 for two people, with probably $18 being the cost of the sangria. As I mentioned, you do get a lot of food, for what you pay.

If you live in the Hunter's Creek area, or are staying in the Disney area and want something different, I definitely recommend checking out El Inka Grill.

I went there tonight and yummy. I had the Aji de Gallion and after the first bite, I was taken back to fond memories of my trip to Lima. The spices were not as spicy as I remember but they said next time, let them know to make it more spicy. They go easy on the spiciness unless you say add more.

The owner came over to check on everything...nice personal touch. They have live music on Tuesday nights and Peruvian fests once a month. They have lunch specials and I saw a couple of people coming in for take out. Very good and I'll be going back.
