Reviewed February 1, 2010

Recently renovated and very nice resort. clean with friendly staff even with the pressure to "go on a sales tour".
Not more than ten minutes to any of the attractions and yet feels secluded even in the middle of a large complex.
Furnishing were neat and clean. Living room furnishings not comfortable but was not there to sit around in the living room.

We traded for this unit through Interval International, and were well pleased. The unit was very clean, and well appointed. The second BR did have one double and one twin bed (not two doubles), which created a bit of strife amongst the kids.

This is a part of the large Mariott tower and conference center near Disney. The Sabal Palms unit was rather "hidden" and a little difficult to navigate at night for the first time. However, travel to the parks each day was quick and easy.

I finally got my husband to agree to a trip to Disney World for our family of 5. We had a wonderful trip and the Villas were a perfect place to "go home" to at the end of an exhausting day at the parks. Parking was literally steps from our door. Kitchen was fully equiped (only thing we really missed was a pizza cutter). Everything was clean and updated, and the master shower was wonderful! Lots of space in the living area to spread out and relax. The screened porch was fantastic. My kids loved the pool and the life size chess set.

The resort was as convenient to any Disney park as the resorts, though we did have to drive ourselves and pay for parking. We didn't mind that since we had such a great price for the villa and could come and go as we pleased without any wait or hassle. We also enjoyed the slower pace and lack of crowds at the resort as compared to the Disney resorts we saw during our trip.

We are actually contemplating a return trip in a few years and this will be where we stay, without a doubt!

We stayed a week and the location is great. I was told the villa was recently updated but the bathrooms were awful. The AC was also not great and we could not get our bedroom cool. The staff were friendly and I told them right away we did NOT want a timeshare. They called twice but did not bug us. The pool was OK but is had no bar service. Would not stay here again.

Just about 8 minutes from any Disney Park. 10 minutes from Sea World or Universal Studios.
This resort is situated a bit close to I-4 so try to stay poolside or courtside.
Easy access to all of Orlando and an hour to the Space Coast. West coast a bit further but this makes a great base to radiate out from.

We just returned from a weeks stay and had a really nice time. We exchanged into Sabal Palms but were a little nervous based on some of the older reviews. Our place had a great view overlooking a pond and golf course. The grounds were well maintained and overall the property was neat and clean. The unit was a nice size and although it showed its age in some ways, it was perfect for us. The bathroom had the walk-in shower with side sprays as well as the overhead rain shower. The kitchen had granite counters and newer appliances. Some of the furniture was a little dated but was wasn't horrible by any stretch. It was pretty quite with most of the action being at the World Center next door. As others have noted the Sabal pool is usually empty as most people use the large one at World. The walk to the World Center pool, restaurants, etc. was only a few minutes. We didn't have any issues that needed attention but employees we encountered were friendly. The drive to the Disney attractions are only a few minutes and it's convient to Rt 4 if you're looking to see other parts of Fla. Overall, a nice place and we'd certainly consider staying there again.

USed 150K Marriott points to stay in a 2 bedroom unit. Everything was great except the tvs needed to be upgraded and you need conditioners in the room (only shampoo). The pool in the timeshare is nice enough and great for young kids - goes from 3 feet to 5 feet. We never ventured to main pool as we had a young child. Also a dvd player in all rooms would be beneficial. The location is great. Literally 10 minutes from Epcot, 12 from Holiday Studios 15 Magic Kingdom - 2 miles from main entrance of disney world. Walmart and Publix are both within close proximity. Also the chelsea premium outlets are within 7 minutes - the only authorized disney outlet center. Overall, I would stay here in a heartbeat provided we could use our points or get a great rate.
