Even the cab driver didn't know about this place. Don't come here though because it will only drive occupancy and prices up. We will never go anywhere else in Orlando. The only reason I am writing a review is because the staff and managers should get a well deserved thumbs up for everything from the genuinely warm and friendly front desk staff to the efficient and hardworking housekeeping and grounds staff that keep everything here meticulous. The shower in the master bathroom was almost reason enough to never leave. Enough said. Like I said, I honestly don't want to write too much because inevitably it leads to greater popularity. Home away from home says it best. Too many positives to write. No negatives. I can't think of one. Thanks for a great stay.

Like staying in a 2 bedroom house that is decked out. Complete privacy for 2 couples if needed. Master bath shower is awesome. Temperature controlled and directly overhead. King bed and flat screen TV and screened patio so no bugs. Great pool and hot tubs close by. Full kitchen and a super walmart less than 2 miles.

We stayed at Sabal Palms with three adults and two kids for a week at Disney and other theme parks. The location really is perfect - 2 miles from Disney, easy hop onto the highway for Sea World and Universal. You can use the pool at the Marriott World Center or use their restaurants, which gives you access to all of those amenities. The full-service kitchen in the villa was perfect for making breakfast or dinner in (toaster, blender, dishes, ice, etc. - everything you need is there!). The full size washer and dryer was nice to have, too, and they provide detergent and a laundry basket to make things easy. The king room had a massive shower, which the kids loved playing in. The only downside to that set-up is there was no door between the bathroom and the bedroom so a lot of light came in at night. If you are a light sleeper like me, bring an eye mask.

The cleaning staff was great - they run the dishwasher every day and really do a good job of keeping things tidy.

The carpets could use a refresh, but I imagine it is impossible to change the soft goods (linens, carpets, upholstery) as often as you would really need to based on the sheer numbers of people coming in and out. I think all hotels in Orlando show wear faster than other destinations since there are so many families vs. business travelers, so this isn't a knock on the Sabal Palms.

We have stayed here 3 times on visits to Orlando. The location is perfect - 10 minutes from Disney and Universal, 15 minutes from Sea World, and plenty of shops and restaurants very close by. The two bedroom condo units are always clean and comfortable and the staff is helpful and friendly. This is the only place we stay when we visit Orlando.

Room Tip: Ask for a golf course view - will help you see the fireworks from Disney.

I'd choose the Sabal Palms property. No, you won't get room service, but you get a lot more space and privacy. I often find myself in Orlando for conferences.. and being cooped up in a hotel, attached to a conference center, typically means I don't get any fresh ever during the entire conference. The Sabal Palms remedies it. Yes, the rooms are dated (thinks 1970's & 80's chic - rattan furniture, pink-ish carpet, giant glass mirrored bathroom), but oh so comfortable.
There are 2bdrms, one is a king sized master with attached bathroom; the second room has 2 full size beds, and an attached bathroom (that is also the common bathroom). Well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen (Blender, cookware, toaster, plates, utensils, cleaning supplies), so just fill the fridge! You also have free parking! They'll even clean your place each day - so the best part of hotel stays (housekeeping) is still accessible.
And, if you want to access the pools, fitness center or restaurants at the world center, it's all there, since you're on the same property (all overlooking the golf course).

Booked this time-share unit on a weekly rental option for a conference at Marriott World Center. The unit is a true condo, two bedrooms, living room, dining area, kitchen, and a screened-in porch. The master bedroom is exactly that - full king bed, sitting area, television, all with access to the screened porch. The en suite is exquisite - double sinks, large vanity, full mirrors, fluffy towels, etc. The shower is a walk-in marvel, with body jets, rain head, and room for four (that is only a guess - no practical knowledge). The second bedroom has a twin and double bed. The attached washroom can also serve as an en suite as well. The living area is large and bright with a pull-out sofa, and the kitchen, albeit not big has everything you need in way of utensils, china, serving dishes and appliances. The units all have a washer and dryer.

The time-share has a pool and small fitness room. The whole complex however also has access to the tennis and beach volleyball area, plus you are just a two minute walk from the main hotel and conference center. Use of the hotels aquatic area is also included.

As an added bonus, if in the right location, you can sit on your screened in porch each evening at 9pm and watch the Disney fireworks.

The only negatives: to conserve energy & resources, we asked for no towel service for our stay, but they seemed to be changed regardless; with only a day's dishes housekeeping put the dishwasher on two days in a row - a real waste of energy. There is some construction at the main hotel, with the staging area just beside the #4620 block of units - there is no issue with noise or workers, except that garbage was left behind daily and not picked up the entire week - a bit unsightly. The one main item needing attention is the WiFi - we had issues all week, with the signal dropping routinely throughout the day.

Overall a very good experience, with a few minor inconveniences that can be quickly fixed. Would stay again for sure.

Room Tip: All the units look over the golf course. If on convention as for the #4620 block, from 24 or higher...

We liked this location and resort very much. Lots to see and do because property includes 3 other hotels. The World Marriott is biggest in world and has so many amenities. Our room overlooked golf course and we could see Disney fireworks at night. One of the front desk people, Emily Bautista, went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We liked her cheerful attitude, friendliness and professionalism. Many excellent restaurants within 5 mikes and only 2 mikes to Disney. We will definitely go back again next year.
