“Wet carpet - would not let us change rooms”
Reviewed June 25, 2010

After checking in and returning from lunch we discovered that the carpet was so wet we could not place anything on the floor except our wheeled luggage. We called front desk and were told there was no comparable room to move us to. [This hotel was by no means full]. They said they would send us a fan to dry it out but it never arrived. We had to wear shoes in our room for 2 days. It never dried out completely. This is a very shoddy way to treat any guests but inexcusable for Hilton Honors members.
For the most part the people were very friendly and the location is great bot i cannot recommend this hotel to anyone now.

We stayed at the Hilton as they offer the Disney Extra Magic Hours and we got a decent hotel without the disney prices. Previous reviews had been a bit hit and miss so i was a little wary but could not have been more wrong.
Check in was smooth and efficient, we got a 10th floor room with a view of the contemporary resort in the distance which meant we got to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom from our room every night it was great. From John the valet and Matthew the bellboy the staff could not have been more helpful and informative. It gave me a good feel about the place from the start.
The room was clean and tidy, yes you could say the hotel is still in the 80's in certain parts of the internal decor but our room was fine and modern. Cleaned evry day and toiletries refreshed as we would expect.
Location was excellent we walked over to downtown Disney. Really not as daunting as some of the reviews make the experience sound !. It was a stroll through the lovely gardens of the Hilton cross over the road using the crossing and you are on the Disney Marketplace.
We used the Shuttle buses to get to and from Disney, always on time and as the Hilton was the first pick up seating was never an issue. On the way back from the parks they could get busy as each bus picks up and drops at two parks. We had one really cramped bus ( and i mean they crammed us in !) but once out of about 16 times is really not bad.
We ate in the Andiamo Italian Restaurant. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent and lots of it, so i would recommend this. Prices in the 24 hour market are somewhat expensive, we used the Winn Dixie a mile up the road to buy necessities. If you dont want to eat in Disney or the hotel there are an abundance of restaurants a short drive up the road.
The pools were fine, lovely and warm and quite quiet. Our 3 year old loved the kids pool and the 2 other adult pools were great. No problem with getting beds or towels, and the pools are open till 11pm.
We would most definitley return to this hotel, great value for money !

Great hotel - very nice rooms and excellent pools and location - only let down was the price of food but there are plenty of choices nearby in downtown Disney.

I have been to Orlando over ten times and stayed in various upscale properties, but this hotel takes the cake. I am a very picky traveler because I cannot stand to pay for a hotel room that is not clean, comfortable or customer friendly. My executive team visited this hotel for one night in June and while lodging here, we had one customer service indiscretion that was immediately rectified. The bell hop was exceptionally friendly and he deserved a $10 tip. Our rooms were breathtaking and the bathrooms were fresh, clean and fully stocked. The beds felt like we were sleeping on a cloud and I was so sad that we didn't opt to stay at this hotel for our entire trip. The business services were first class and the meeting space was ample and professional. With several dining options throughout the hotel, there is no reason to leave the hotel to eat and they weren't ridiculously expensive. Don't plan to stay at this hotel if your on a Motel Budget or have a Motel Mentality about money because this hotel gives you the best bang for your buck. I will most definitely stay here again next year and while I didn't take the walk to Downtown Disney, I understand that it's just a few minutes walk. Parking can be steep, but your on vacation stop being cheap! No spa on site which was a little disappointing, but the free shuttle to the mall made up for everything.

Stayed here in June for one night due to the Hilton Bonnet Resort being full and being in need of a last minute room. Check in was a breeze, and the room was very clean and while smaller then were used to it was still a very nice size. One complaint is that the rooms need an update in ligthing, its dark in there. Prices aren't bad as there is always a deal floating around the internet somewhere.

Location is awesome no doubt there, its more convient to downtown then some of Disney's own hotels. The bus service is run rather well and the times are good. Note however that the bus to M.Kingdom drops you at the Ticket Transit center and not the park main-gate. This means a monorail or boat ride, a tad surprise since Ads lead you to believe its a direct run to the park.

Oh well not a huge deal. Will I stay here again, most certainly, I do prefer the bonnet creek hilton, but will be back here in a second if I need a one night stay or the other resort is overbooked. Oh breakfast is good, pricey but its filling and really not that bad considering. Character breakfast on sunday was very entertaining and they had alot of characters there.

Clean room, quiet space and good services including 24 hour minimart off the lobby good choice of hotel. Oh parking is $10 a day, and internet is a fee, a rip-off but thats the hilton when it comes to those two services and I've learned to accept it.

I recently stayed at the property for one night on business. Hotel is not too far from the airport. It took a total of 25 minutes. Directions from website were very accurate.

Valet parked the car for $17 dollars. Check in was very easy and convenient. As a Diamond HH member, I was upgraded to a Junior Suite on the 10th floor. Not sure what the difference in the room was from a standard room, but appreciated the upgrade. The room was very spacious; you could see that the room had recently been renovated. Standard king size bed, desk, large flat screen TV (very limited channels). Off to the side of the room was a very nice living room with couch, table. To be honest, I never went over to that side, so not sure if the price difference from a standard room would be worth it. Bathroom had ample counter space and usual Hilton amenities. Excellent shower pressure and temperature.

A Large spacious pool area with ample loungers around the area. The pool was large and great temperature. I never bumped into anyone. There is a nice hot tub.

Hotel has several choices for dining, and a marketplace where you could grab a quick sandwich, coffee etc.

I had no desire to drive around, so I was pleasantly surprised that you could walk to downtown Disney in 5 minutes. There are plenty of things to do, and places to eat.

Executive Lounge is closed on Sundays, but did use in the following morning. Located on the 9th floor. A very nice area with ample seating. Breakfast was pleasant with the usual offerings including some deli meats and eggs.

Overall, a pleasant stay. My only complaint would be the lack of balconies from the rooms. When one is on vacation, especially in Florida, it would be nice to sit out on your balcony. Given my travel plans to the area, I would definitely return.
