This is a huge mall. I got my Christmas shopping done with 2 trips. We go there when we go to Orlando. Lines to pay were long but I expected that. My daughter was in awe. Nothing like that two hours away where she lives.

“Overwhelmingly big, but has everything”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2013 via mobile

Christmas shopping at such a huge shopping mall; you would think it would be a dire experience - not at all. The secrets?? 1) get there for opening time to avoid the masses, and 2) go armed with a list so you are sure you shop purposely. Three hours including a good Starbucks break and we were done!

This is probably not the time of year to casually browse the shops (and none of us would choose to 'hang out' at a shopping mall anyway) , but for the social shoppers this is probably paradise - every shop you could want, and a great selection at the food court.

“This is my favourite place to shop when we come to florida”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 22, 2013 via mobile

I love the Florida mall. We usually visit her to come to the Disney store, hollister and Abercrombie and Fitch and fit2run. Having a five and six year old in tow we generally get what we need and go however it's a lovely shopping centre and if I were in my own could easily spend hours and hours browsing around! The sales are really good too in December and coming up to labour day. Most shops have a 50% discounts on a lot of their stock.

“Florida Mall charges $5 for discount coupons?!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2013

As this mall offers many shops and many bargains (e.g. Crocs shop offers better deals dan outlet shops!) it is a great place to visit. All the major department stores are there. It gets busy during the day - which probably makes parking a bit more challenging, but if you arrive early you'll have no problems findig a spot. Foodcourt is ok (not all major brands are represented, but Starbucks actually has seating available and if you like sushi there is a great place aswell).

Only downside to our visit was that - after waiting quite a while in line - a grumpy concierge told us that yes, they offered discount coupons BUT you had to PAY?!!! $5 for them! That is absolutely a new intake on the coupons-system and not appealing at all! In the US (and Florida especially) shopping with (discount) coupons is sort of a sport (never shop without your coupons :)).. every self respecting chain or mall (even the outlets) will offer coupon-books to customers and wether or not it actually gives you extra discounts, it is a nice incentive for shopping. So CHARGING people for these coupons is weird and a bridge to far!
