I was taking a class at Mosaic Arts, Inc. right around the corner and when lunch time rolled around the owner suggested Hawkers as one of the nearby lunch options. One of my friends taking the class with me heartily agreed with the recommendation so the four of us ( 3 "virgins" and one experienced diner) headed off down the street. All of us are fairly adventurous and we don't mind sharing so Hawkers fitted us to a T. Everything is relatively inexpensive and the portions are tapas style. We enjoyed the roti so much we opted for a second round. By the end of the meal the table was littered with our small plates and we were ready to head back to class. The atmosphere is very casual, "urban-Asian" style. The wait staff is very helpful and attentive.
