“Loved every second of our holiday here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013 via mobile

This is the second time that we have stayed in the Pop Century and for a budget hotel we loved it just as much as the first time. Rooms though maybe slightly dated but still comfy and very clean with iron and hair dryer. Buses to theme parks obviously busier at peak times but very regular. Hotel food though repetitive always hot just loved it.

on my first stay at pop century I must say I was pleasantly surprised, the hotel completely blew me away. straight away the reception area is very welcoming and bright and airy. the staff members were all very polite and helpful. they dealt with me in a lovely relaxed and comfortable manner. the hotel itself is very clean and maintained. a very high standard
the rooms are presented in a nice way, with all that you need for a good holiday. the beds are comfortable and clean. the bathrooms have all you need, with a bath with and a shower, sink and toilet, towels are always provided. the swimming pools are very nice and easily accessible , there are sun loungers all around them, each area has a washing area with machines and dryers..the food courts are large with plenty of seats, at certain times is extremely busy, like breakfast time, which is to e expected. some people might say that some rooms are a bit far away from the food court, but that personally bother me. the Disney buses take you to the parks, which is easy for you to get about, you can also get to the other parks. this time we had a hire car and it was the best thing we done. I have stayed at pop century a few times and cant wait to go back. there is an arcade within the hotel which is a good place to take the children, it has lots of games to play and is a fun place to try. the Disney shop is also a nice place to go and there is plenty ot things to look at and to buy. the cleaning staff are very helpful and do their up most to help you and make your stay enjoyable. it is a very friendly and happy hotel to stay in. it is ideal for a family budget. it is an ideal resting place for you while you concentrate on seeing all the Disney parks, the resort is very large, but that's what is needed to accommodate all the people that visit, in all my visits there, there has never been any trouble. I have stayed in another Disney hotel but I keep coming back to this one, I really wish I could find a complaint but I myself honestly cant. I suppose this hotel is nott for everyone, but if your on a budget give it ago. my happiest and fondest holiday memories will always belong with pop century

Room Tip: try to get a room that's not on the ground level it will be quieter

Just got back from Disney World May 1st 2013 and had a fantastic time. It was our first time staying at Pop Century after staying at All-Star movies before. Our decision was based on Pop Century guests having their own dedicated bus from the parks thus missing the chaos of one bus taking 3 hotels worth of guests (All-Star), and also just for a change. We were not looking for luxury as we knew this was a value resort. We were pleasantly surprised at how clean our room was and the nice view of Hourglass Lake (60's Theme Room). We were further away from the food and shop area but I guarantee it took no longer than 5 mins to get to them. Beds were smaller than some hotels we have stayed at previously at but all we needed was a short nights rest, a shower and off to the parks for all day adventures. Also liked that we could walk right over to Art of Animation for different food choices and even took their bus back from Animal Kingdom as ours had not shown up yet. So I just wanted to finish with the comment of this..Clean, basic, no frills room, Pop Century was ideal. If you want all the bells and whistles stay at the Grand Floridian but be warned you'll have a lot less money to spend on Mickey Pops..lol..Safe Travels to you all

We came for a short Disney stay and decided to maximize our time at the parks rather than pay more for a room that we would barely be in. Over 4 days and 3 nights, we barely saw the room. Very happy with that choice. The beds have clearly seen thousands of guests and are in need of replacement. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.

There is a massive pool if you have more time to kill. The biggest advantage of staying on a Disney property is the extension of the Disney experience and customer service. Shuttle buses run throughout the day, most come every 20 minutes to/from parks.

The level service is amazing when dealing with Disney. If there is a problem, they want to know about so they can address it. This is a great option if you want to be on Disney's property without splurging on the more extravagant resort while still getting easy access to the parks.

This hotel is soooo big and has so many rooms on property! Very convenient with the shuttles to and from disney. Next time I would rather pay more than having the hassle of getting lost to what building to go to and being confused getting to our room. Hotel food was amazing. The veggie lasagna and nachos were amazing. Staff was great and very helpful! Cheerleaders were staying here in another building but didnt seem to bother us because we must had seen ten groups staying at this hotel for a competition going on that weekend we stayed. Hotel room small but werent in our room at all besides to sleep and pass out after a tired day at disney.

This is the second I stayed at value resort at Disney and again I enjoyed. My wife and I went to Disney for our honeymoon. To save money we stayed at the Pop Century Resort and the staff was excellent as usual, they did not make you feel like you were at a less expensive hotel in that they provided the same excellent Disney service you would even expect at one the highend Disney resorts. A great added bonus was that we stayed at the '60's part of the resort in that my wife is a big Beatles fan. I also enjoyed the Magical Express to and from the Orlando airport and not having to touch our luggage after getting on the plane in Cleveland.

Our stay was perfect.. The room was clean and comfortable.. New TV's and updates since we visited in 2008. The food at Pop food court was tasty. We are going to try the new Art of Animation this week but We LOVE Pop..

Room Tip: As close as you can get to the main building so you don't have to walk far to check in..the bus...
