Limited menu but good quality authentic cajun/creole food at reasonable prices. Entertainment is not everybody's thing (2 guys on pianos) but there is the option to eat outside (which we took)

It's a great place to go and have tons of fun. They have "piano' s battles and it's awesome! People of different ages go there and they all have fun. Just make sure to have money to tip the pianists as you request your favorite music. They're really good and fun!

We thought this was going to be more of an Irish Pub - but the food was more cajun in flair. It was delicious anyway. We were treated to the piano bar where the lady sang "There is no place like Nebraska" when she found out we were from Nebraska! The dueling piano guys were also amazing!

Only drawback was level of noise, but we were at the piano bar. The Cajun Mac-n-Cheese was delicious and filling. The dueling pianos entertained everyone-even when the guys butchered KC & the Sunshine Band!

My husband and I went to pat obriens expecting a great duelling piano performance .
We originally visited at 6pm and thought the music was fit for the average age of 60+.
We left and went for dinner at the Italian restaurant and went back after 830 expecting livelier music. We stayed for 2 drinks and left. The pianist were not like we had seen before on cruise ships. Pat obriens seemed to have a set play list they didn't deviate from.
I requested a Bon Jovi song to put me out of my misery of the 50 an 60s music bc I could only take so much of Elton John and billy Joel lol
I thought the pianist would have taken a hint after that they went back to playing the 50s music.
Then a birthday party of a younger crowd showed up with a 12+party and requested a couple modern day songs. The pianist were reluctant to oblige but shortened the song. I thought with a crowd of no older than 50 in the pub and the requests the pianist would try to accomadate the crowd . Especially being "universal studios" a younger crowd is expected.i thought they would have known to play modern songs :(
Hearing songs from the late 70s 80s 90s and today was expected but was non existent at pat obriens. The lack of repertoire of music was disappointing. I have been to numerous piano bars in cruise ships and in Las Vegas. The pianist are at the very least entertaining and joke with each other. These pianist were very DRY. There was nothing universal about them . I rate a 1 out of 5 and that's being generous.
