Description: Share in a one-of-a-kind celebration of music and culture as Bob Marley: A Tribute to Freedom at Universal CityWalk takes you on a musical journey through the life of the "King of Reggae." Bob Marley’s songs of faith, hope, rebellion, and determination have brought inspiration and joy to audiences everywhere. Working closely with Rita Marley and the Bob Marley Foundation, we have created a replica of Bob's home on 56 Hope Road in Kingston, Jamaica. Inside, artifacts, photos, and video clips from his legendary career surround visitors in the open-air veranda and courtyard. The cuisine features Jamaican-influenced appetizers, entrees and desserts. Some of the most popular items are the Oxtail Stew, the Sun is Shining grilled chicken breast marinated in Jamaican curry sauce, and the Taste of Jamaica appetizer platter featuring veggie & beef patties, mango wings and yucca fries.

Booked as a meal and movie package, great food and great value, will be going back, limited menu on the meal and movie package but can't complain, really nice and drinks reasonable between 5 and 7

The place is nice, the layout is really well thought out.

The reggae music makes for a wonderful atmosphere, and it was really interesting to hear the commentary and interviews with Marley's friends and family.

The food was nice, but nothing to go crazy for in my opinion.

Several years ago I visited Marley's with a group of work companions. I remember the music to be first rate, the vibe mellow, the Red Stripe cold and the food tasty. We danced on the large floor as if we were in Jamaica itself. Now...the place is jammed with dining tables, the dance floor taken over by the dinner crowd, the music overpowering and excessively loud and with a beat that is more techno than island. The food -- we ordered a fondue app -- was excessively bland to the point of being tasteless with a consistency of mash potatoes. Yeck.

How disappointing. The band played like they were in an auditorium rather than an intimate nightclub/restaurant and murdered some Marley classics beyond recognition. Our server worked hard to give us attention but the food took 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen.

I was disappointed more from a sense of what the place used to be compared with how they run the business today. I asked about dancing and was told that the dance floor is freed up around 11 or 11:30 when the diners are done eating...but, the god-awful music was motivation not to stick around to verify.

I visited this restaurant with my family (teenage kids) in August 2013. I was disappointed with the food, a little, as it was a bit tame. I was expecting spicy food with a good bite, but everything I ate was bland and a little uninteresting. Saying that the Beef Pattties were absolutely delicious. The decor is great, staff lovely and music fab! I was also surprised at the prices, which were very reasonable. I ordered a couple of the special offer cocktails, but was disappointed, very little alcohol, lots of ice... but only $5 so you probably get what you pay for.

the drinks were very good and the apps we had were good as well...but look the menu over because the variety of food is small so if you have a large party or children might be hard for everyone to find something they like. If you like different i think you'll like it though
