“Don't Bother”

Gator Golf And Adventure Park
Reviewed June 17, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I had been here just a few years back and were excited to find a groupon four pack for $19 so we could take our children. We arrived and went straight in this place has sure gone done hill and could stand to be re-furnished. We had to skip a hole because the house obstacle did not work. On hole #17 there was a drop down feature and two of the balls got stuck on the way down and we had to use our clubs to free them. The over all course needs painting, the fish tanks throughout looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in months, and the bushes/weeds were overgrown. I would have rather spent extra and went to an updated course.

Like others purchased a groupon voucher before going to Orlando . To say disappointed is an understatement !! No obstacles at any hole , graffitti , dead leaves and branches at each hole . Leaves you feeling very dirty , the gators are kept in very dirty water and tiny areas . This place should just be passed and continue going north to Congo River Golf where the gators are in at least clean water

Passed this place 2-3 times a day on our 2 week stay on international drive, the guys behind the counter just off the street, hassle you tove the microphone to come in. A few times a day a guy comes out front with an alligator and has its mouth duct tape shut and invites children and adults to sit on its back for photos while holding its head back. How this place is not shut down for animal crulty is beyond me.Staff should be ashamed of themselfs. Greens or carpets are torn, waterloged and full of leaves and twigs and vandalism on the walls.

I wouldn't use this venue for tournaments but for the one-off family trip it is an ok place to go. Especially if you can get a discount as if I paid full price then I'd feel like it wasn't value for money.

We opted to do the gator golf as we found a group on voucher before we came making it only $5 for each of us. However we were very disappointed - there was nothing very 'crazy' about this crazy golf and it seemed a bit run down in comparison to some of the others on i-drive. For the money we paid I guess we can't complain, but next time we would pay the extra and go somewhere else.
