We booked a late reservation so we could watch the fireworks from our table and we were not disappointed. The food was great and the portions were enormous. We had two boxes full of leftovers. We told our server that we wanted to time our meal so that we could watch Illuminations and she was more than happy to accommodate us. When you are touring Epcot stop by during a time that's not busy and just politely ask the host to please see if you can have a table by the windows and they will do their best to take care of your request.

As an Annual Passholder, we go to Disney World quite often and have tried many of the eating establishments. This is one we always try to make it to, but only for a few appetizers and drinks. The queso fundito is out of this world; they used to serve it across the way at the San Angel Inn (the restaurant inside the Mexican pavilion) where we had it at least 10 years ago, but removed it from the menu. We tried in vain to find a suitable replacement, but never found one quite like it. When I saw it was back on the menu at the newly opened Hacienda, we were ecstatic! After all these years, it was as good as we remembered. We also had the taco trio and a tequila flight. The first time we ate here, we happened to time it during the fireworks, which was neat. Ask for a round 'banquet' table that sits a bit elevated and has a great view out the windows. Great late night snacks to finish off a long day at EPCOT.
In fact, we'll be back Mother's Day weekend... mmm, queso fundito!

This has great Mexican food. Not a lot of variety but what they have is good. The guacamole has a spicey kick to it, just wish they served a side with extra chips. This isn't the cheapest place, we spent $50 on a family of 4 and had to wait to find seating because people linger. But it's good food and ambiance.

We have eatten here in the past on prior trips to Epcot and returned because the atmosphere is so cool. You feel like you are sitting in an outdoor courtyard under the stars. The food is good. They bring over chips and salsa to start with. Our dinners were good. They aren't of the quality of some of the other restaurants we ate at during our vacation like California Grill or Ohana but we enjoyed them. I would go again for the atmospher.

Our large party had a great window table and took advantage of dining late on a Tuesday night. Mango margarita with chili spice was refreshing and not too hot. Tortilla chips were home made and not greasy. My picky vegetarian enjoyed the black bean soup, and tried (and enjoyed)refried black beans for the first time. The seafood del Mar was a huge platter which could easily be shared by 3, maybe 4. Fish was over salted, but shrimp and scallops tasty. My pork tenderloin mole was not over cooked, but moist, tender and had just enough of the very mild mole.
At 9 pm, they dimmed the lights and piped in the music for Illuminations. Since many diners had exited to view from the outside, a nice view could be had of the entire fireworks spectacle from much of the restaurant. It was so pleasant to be able to have dessert and after dinner drinks while watching a beautiful show.
