I don't normally review bus tours but i felt i needed to say something about this one.

We had a driver which i cannot remember his name, i think it is the man on the
left of their profile picture on trip advisor. Ok lets begin:

Got picked up from our hotel at 7:30, and we are off to KPC. (after a couple of pick ups)

we headed to the other end of I drive picked people up then headed to
somewhere near to disney for a few more people.. now we are on the road to
KPC.. or so i thought..

we started on the way at about 8:30 leaving disney, as you can see where
are now about 1 hour on the bus.

Our driver has a lot of passion for KSC, i know this because he proceeded
to tell us a lot of information about KSC on a mic which was turned up too
loud so we could not hear a lot of what he was saying..

this was not the problem.. the problem was it was 8:30 in the morning
and by the time we had stopped at gator "whatever" and dropped people
off and then made it KSC at 9:30 he was burning a hole in my head and
putting us in a really bad mood. If was funny as there was a girl in front
of us with her parents blocking her ears for most of the trip.

We made it!

had a great day in KSC..

Came back to the driver who was waiting. pulled off 15 mins early
which was great.. took the driver 15 mins to kick back off again with
the chit chat.. then those old feelings started again..

We made it back to the first hotel and a bunch of people got off
the bus, the driver got agitated and for some reason decided to have
a rant at the rest of the bus saying "am i a bad driver"? as if we where
going to answer, then he said, i've never had a crash.. then he laid
in the people who we just left behind saying a couple of dollars is all
they left me.. then he said something about karma and went quiet
for a little while.. heaven!

Came to the next stop which was a connection with a smaller van where
some more people got off. Fine

Or was it, they kept asking for a person called Harris, no answer..

so we then left, 5 mins later he called out for some "chinese" ladies
that where on the back of the bus.. they where the ones who where
to get off the bus.. he was not happy.. so he pulled up somewhere in
Disney on a main road and let them out to walk to the smaller bus behind
us.

we started again, the driver then started to have a go at previous
journeys he had where customers did not get off etc and was not very
courtious about people such as ones who could not understand English.

i dont think at this point he was winning the tip basket award for this trip
so i think he was giving up on us.

We made it back, safe and sound and went straight to the hotel bar!

this was more hard work than it needed to be! word of advise to the driver
would be to say less on the journey, heart in the right place.

my advise: miss this tour and rent a car out.. more enjoyable.

Mike was a good driver and we enjoyed the day at ksc. My only comment is that visitors should be notified of closed attractions at ksc. There were a number of closed attractions and renovations on the day of our visit.

Had a fantastic day tour at Kennedy Space Centre. Mike, our driver was very accommodating and kept us entertained throughout the journey. He was very well informed and provided a lot of information regarding our trip. He is also a very good joker..infact it could be another job on the side for him :) Kennedy Space Centre is a must visit if you have an interest in the space and beyond.

We took the day trip to St Augustine with Greyline last week. A great day out. We were staying at Disney and not on their scheduled pick up but for $10 each extra they picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel lobby.
Our driver/tour guide Mike was very friendly and helpful and kept us entertained on the two hour drive. On arrival we went to the marine centre first to meet "our dolphin" The encounter only lasted 15mins as it is not a swim but as I do not swim it was ideal for non swimmers or folk who do not want to bother with getting wet and changing clothes. We fed and petted the dolphin, shook hands ( fins) with him and he splashed around for us. We had a proffesional photo taken for us as no cameras are allowed in the area by visitors.
Then it was back to st Augustine itself for the rest of the day. The trolley tour is a must as it takes you around the whole town so you don't miss anything. It is a hop on and off trolley so you get off if something interests you and hop back on to the next stop when you are ready. St Augustine is the oldest city in the USA and we were told all about its history and saw many sites including its fort, gates to the old city, beautiful bridge and its old cobbled very narrow old streets. There are many unique shops where you can pick up gifts you will not find in Orlando and many places you can get a nice bite to eat or drink. In all a good day out and a chance to get away from the theme parks for a day.
