We went here on our last night in Orlando because I fell in love with their meatball sandwich in their TV advert! When we arrived for supper I was disappointed to find that the sandwich was offered only for lunch! That was the only disappointment of the meal. My first note for supper here: make reservations in advance. There was a 45 minute queue to get in when we arrived! We had had enough queueing at the parks during the day, so we opted for takeaways.
The takeaway menu is a slightly shortened version of the main menu (some meals just can't be transported), but still offers a good selection of Italian specialities. We chose the "2 for $25" option, which gave us 2 soups or starters; 2 main courses; and 2 desserts. I was a bit concerned about what would happen to the food during the drive home, but the ingeneous packaging kept it all nicely arranged and hot. The portions were large, and the food excellent. The starter on its own is enough for a meal.
Note for next visit to Orlando: don't leave Olive Garden to the end again.
