we had a very positive stay at this property. no complaints, everything as expected or better. the food was good and the waiter was very happy and hospitable! i wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel.
- Free Wifi
The rooms and staff were excellent and it is great value for money as you get breakfast every morning and a small meal with wine and beer 4 nights per week.
The transport to disney leaves at about 8.30am , 10am and 12pm only and drops off at epcot and then you get a dosney bus to the park of your choice. same deal for transport back. You need to make sure you leavr your park in time to get back to epcot.
Although you can see the premium outlet from tne hotel it is across a busy highway with fences. it cost thirty dollars for a taxi tk get there. So in summary a good hotel if you have a car as there is nothing near enough to walk to. Some of the taxi drivers didnt even know where it was
We stayed three nights Sept. 7-10 2013 and our stay was great. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a mini fridge, safe, internet basically is was great. We did use the internet while we were there without any problems. It was close to restaurants, shopping including Downtow Disney, Disney World and the other parks. It had shuttle service to the parks. Would stay there again.
Stayed for three nights, one for business and two for pleasure. Hotel was clean and well appointed. Pool area shared with hotel next door was nice with a good hot tub. Convenient to Disney and International Drive with a short commute.
I was pleasantly surprised at just how nice this hotel was. The room was $75 per night with an AAA rate. Room was clean and modern, carpet looked new. Very comfortable bed. Very courteous staff at check-in. I was traveling with a car so getting around was quite easy from this location. Free parking and free wi-fi which for me is a MUST. I don't stay at hotels that charge extra for either of those things.
That said, I would stay here again for that same price but it would not be my first choice if the Parc Soleil across the street has rooms for the AAA rate of $86 but they don't always.
My reasons for this:
1. The bathroom is a bit on the small side and has no exhaust fan. It's definitely adequate but I prefer bigger and really don't like when there is no exhaust fan.
2. There is a microwave and mini refrigerator but there's no freezer compartment.
3. This room sorely lacks a wet bar. If it had a wet bar, I would look to stay here more often. I am someone who prepares and eats food in the room and it's not easy to do that without an actual kitchenette or wet bar.
4. There was a decent amount of hallway noise and not because anyone was being too loud, it was more like the room needed more insulation from it.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and the hotel was overally clean. The room's carpet was kind of run-down and getting pretty dirty and old. The room had this very musty smell in it and it didn't disappear throughout our stay expect when blasting the AC for one to two hours. In addition the ice vending machine room had a way stronger musty smell in it. They need to fix this problem. We liked how the room had a coffee brewer, fridge, and a microwave. The room had flat pillows with no neck support at all. It is a good place to stay if you are going to Disney World because they provide transport and its also very close to the hotel. I might stay here again.
